I wish that were the case, but no, I haven't taken delivery yet and as the day slips on by it is becoming less and less likely that I'll be able to pick her up this week. After Friday, my next opportunity to take the trip to Portland is next Wednesday (my wife's work schedule isn't as flexible as mine).

I plan on calling my MA in about 30 minutes to see if he has any new info but as of 10:35 this morning Demi still had not arrived at the Rasmussen. I'm starting to get bummed....she probably won't be ready on Friday but Saturday so she'll be waiting approximately 5 days before I can pick her up.

I guess in the scheme of things it isn't all that bad, I've been waiting almost 3 months, what is an extra 5 days right?

I've actually been busy at work and my wife has had the evenings off so I haven't had as much time to continually monitor NAM.

 

Just got an email from my MA, it still hasn't arrived. They have a call in to the VDC/ports to find out what the story is. If it arrives tonight I might still be able to pick her up Friday. Dan, my MA, is actually off tomorrow but has requested that they call him at home to give him an update and he'll call me (even from home) to let me know when my Mini arrives.

I have to say, I am extremely pleased with Dan and Rasmussen Mini. I couldn't ask for better customer service.

Now, if only the truck would show up .

 

Don't feel too bad. My MINI had to sit at the dock at Southampton for an extra week 'cause the WW boat was too small.

After you actually get the car, it wont matter much.

 

UGH! And you haven't asked them to activate the car carrier truck's LOJACK system? I'm SURE the truck has been hijacked...at the very least the driver needs a police escort to Rasmussen.

That smilie looks like me this afternoon. I called hoping there would be word that it would get shipped tomorrow (if so, I'd have it by Saturday), but now its looking like that might not even happen.

I'm trying to keep it in perspective though, like Gary, what is another week after 2 months of waiting... a million years impatient But I'll get through it "with the help of my friends. I get by with a little help from my friends. I get high with a little help from my friends..."

 

You guys have waited SO LONG. I can't take it. Your dealerships, MAs, truck drivers, and the karma Gods are not working in harmony.

How much trauma, anxiety, stress, and sleeplessness are owners-in-waiting expected to be able to take? This is like a torture. Sooooo close, and yet...sooooo far.

Don't make me drive to each dealership.
