My 04Mc had a white roof and red body so I placed red stipes on the bonnet and the boot. My 07 MCS has red body,red roof and red Mirrors so I was thinking black stripes. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!!!

 

Sorry! I meant white stripes on my 04 MC.

 

You could go black or white. White would really stand out and tie into the brightwork on Coopers, but black would be more subdued and tie into the black wheel arches/trim. You can't go wrong either way, so the question is..."stand-out bright" or "subdued dark"??? Good luck...you have a really great car to work with being that it's all red!!!

 

i'd go with black, as opposed to white...you might be able to find aftermarket stripes that are clear with a black pinstripe, which would also look cool (body colored stripes outlined by black)

True...if you had a red/white MINI already maybe going a different direction would be fun. Great thing w/ stripes is that you could always change it in a year or two if you wanted to!!

I'm partial to white. What would be neat would be strips all the way down to the boot.

Well, white would look good as long as they went all the way over the car, which would mean having parallel stripes toward the center of the car instead of the regular MINI bonnet stripes.

But I think black would look better. There's lots of black on the car already for it to tie into.

I'm kind of partial to the clean line of white, but that being said you should check out the cool 'Jake" stripes on Aesthetic Creations site... black with chrome down the middle. Quite cool.

 

You could go with The XXL Racing Stripe - blue in the main stripe and white on the pinstripes.

If you want to go for a bad/mean look, black stripes on red are appropriate. White would give a less badass look.
