Sunglasses

I just got a MCS and I have been trying to find a handy spot for my shades. Currently I place them in one of the cupholders but this isn't the best spot with scratches and such.

Where do you store your shades?

I usually keep them on the vent in the middle of the dash when I park otherwise I am hoping to have them on in the sunshine. Otherwise I put them in the case and put them in the glove compartment to keep them from sliding around. A friend of mine has one of those soft case type things with the drawstring that is attached to the cup holder or sitting in the cup holder and that works pretty good as well.

I have one of those cool holders that clip onto your sun shade from Sunglass Hut. I couldnt find anywhere else to keep them that they wouldnt get scratched.

I...um...sell a sunglass holder on Ebay. Don't know if it's the same kind, but it clips on the sunvisor. Costs $3.99.

Got the link deb? I am sure that it would generate some sales! Especially if its been tested that it works in the MINI!

I also have a clip on the visor that came from some drug rep at the hospital where my wife works. There is lots of room for improvement in the "cubby hole" area of Minidom.

I keep a can cozy in the large cupholder, it's perfect for keeping all sorts of stuff in there. Of course, when I want to put a cup in there............

I keep my sunglasses on my face!

When I leave, I always take 'em with me so they don't get stolen. Learned that after having 2 pairs of Oakleys stolen out of my Xterra.

Easy answer

Behind the front cupholders is a small tray just back under the dash.
My shades sit there until I'm ready for them.
No sliding or scratches when I corner, either.
Let me know if you can't find it.
Easy fix!

Euro-parcel shelf under the steering wheel for the everyday pair. In a glasses case in the door pocket for the extra pair and a pair to read maps with. Before I got the shelf I used a visor clip. I thought it was a pain and ugly.

Just hook an arm over the visor. They ride there ok, not in the way, and always ready!

Euro parcel shelf. Along with various adaptors and a tire pressure gauge.

Does the '07 have the cubby hole slot in the glovebox door? My wife's '05 does. But yes, that is a great spot to put them (we also use it frequently for storing our cel phone charging cables) or in the center arm rest.

Nope, the '07 had no such feature. Center armrest for mine (and only small sizes will fit) until they make a cellphone sleeve for my Pearl.

Can you hang them from the visor arm loop thing? I don't know about the 07+ minis, but the first gen had them. Sorry for not being helpful at all.

You can see my white glasses, does the 2nd genners have that?
