Hi Pencechp- I was led to believe Texas uses the Charleston VDC... I wonder if anyone can confirm? If so, you could be on another carrier!?!?!

Manon is south of the Isle of Wight

She's off... just south of the Ilse of Wight... Sure hope the Cap'n choses to call out his position to Sailwx!

Weird about those 12 VINS still showing as "Received at Terminal"... Like they didn't make the ship.

Maybe WW will update them later? The first 3 were at the dock for a while! Anybody have one of these?

VIN Date: WMWRF33527TG17472 15/06/2007 WMWMF73587TT81506 11/6/2007 WMWMF73577TL90360 12/6/2007 WMWMF73537TL90761* 25/06/2007 WMWMF73507TT81872* 25/06/2007 WMWMF73507TT81855* 25/06/2007 WMWMF335X7TT54476* 25/06/2007 WMWMF335X7TT54378* 25/06/2007 WMWMF33577TT54483* 25/06/2007 WMWMF33567TT54488* 25/06/2007 WMWMF33557TT54482* 25/06/2007 WMWMF33557TT54479* 25/06/2007

Yeah, the "Received at Terminal" VINs will get updated in a day or so based on what I saw on the Madame Butterfly a couple of weeks ago.

Hey dark, well, WW did update today... But now the Manon booking shows 622 mini's on board, down from 635...

So, there was 1 "Withdrawn from Vessel" and 12 VIN's that didn't make the ship apparently! Including 3 VIN's that had 2 week old production complete dates!

I'm guessing these VIN's belong to dealers and they are being re-directed to an East Coast ship. (?)...

Manon's Cap'n calling out position!

OK, we got lucky... Fire up your Google Earth... Manon's first position report is logged... She was just southeast of Plymouth as of 0600 UTC 6/26/07.

Check out her progress yourself:

http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/shi...html?call=SIWN

She's due in Manzanillo (Panama) 7/7/07

WOW, GREAT COMPANY!

WOW, I'm so honored. Sparkling Silvers and Nightfire Reds. Now maybe I'll see some in Seattle, finally! I'm only a lowly PW/B, would have been an S/S, but decided to get D.S.C instead. I'm happy about the choice.

PW/B, blk lounge leather, cream line, anthracite, xenons, D.S.,heated seats, sun roof, and cruise control, stripes.

hey maxshire... that's some scary news... how do you find out about those 12 vin's that didn't make it... and how did you find out that they had the 2 wk old production complete dates? is that all on the ww website?

i hope mines wasn't one of those 12... i'm still posted as "loaded on vessel"... does that mean i'm safe?

Howdy howdyem... I got all information from the WW site. I happened to be watching their site as they loaded the minis. I presume they are essentially "bar coding" them in as they load the ship, hence their website essentially shows the updates "real time".

Way to check 1: So I posted the 12 VIN's that were left behind above someplace. Just make sure yours isn't one of them! I'm pretty sure they must have been "owned" by dealers, and got redirected.

Way to check 2: You have your VIN, right? and you can plug it into the WW site for auto cargo...(http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTrac...trackType=Auto)
Put in your VIN. You will then receive a "cargo status" page with your VIN. The last entry should show "Loaded on Vessel" and the date should be 25/06/2007. If it says that, you are ON! The "voyage" line should show ED725-MAN... That is actually a hyperlink... Click on it, here you'll see Manon's voyage... Heading to Manzanillo as we speak. In the previous cargo status page, you'll see a Booking number... You can go back to the search page (where you put in "auto cargo") and call up the search for "booking number"... Here you'll get a list of what was loaded on the ship. It shows 622 VIN's (Hit "printer friendly" to get all 622 records).

I was watching this screen as it updated. It went as high as 635. The 622 ended up showing as "Loaded on Vessel" with a time stamp. The 13 didn't. One was "Withdrawn from Vessel". 12 were simply not loaded. (again, see my post above for the actual 12 VIN #'s).

Anyways, if you have a VIN, and it plugs into WW and comes up with Manon, and ED725-MAN, I think you are ON! No worries, right?

Welcome aboard and good luck!

Making progress..

Manon is making progress... about 1/2 way between the UK and the Azores.... She's making good time, running about 400+ nautical miles per day... only 10 more days to the canal!

For week 24 West Coasters:

Manon making progress... about 375 miles off the Azores. Looks like she'll be passing on the west side of the islands in about 18 hours or so...

Also aboard the Manon!

Although ASKMINI and the "Track Your MINI" tool both still say that my new ride is at the port awaiting transport, after seeing this thread and guessing that I'd be routed through a west coast port, I entered my VIN number as suggested on the WW site...I'm on the Manon and set sail 6/25! On order since 5/2, I completed production 6/14 and have been waiting for transport since 6/15. Better late than never. Looks like we are projected to arrive in port near Oxnard, CA, about 7/16.

Yes, I'm listed as "awaiting transport". OL is always behind at least 2 days, and usually 3-5. I seem to recall on my last order the "Awaiting Transport" took the longest to update. I'd expect we'll see it move to "enroute" in the next few days...

No fears, though. If your VIN shows on Manon, you are on! 7/16 arrival at Port Hueneme... About 7-8 days thereafter for those of us in CA. I seem to recall CO may take a little longer...

Mini USA (OL) just clicked over to "En Route"... Like a clock... a 3-day slow clock, but a clock nonetheless!

Wooooo Hooooo! Good news at last! "Pippin" made it on board the Manon with all the rest of you.

I've been on vacation for a week without internet access (whew that was hard...:impatient ) and was happy to come home and hear a message from my MA that my MINI "made the boat"!

Of course I had to come on here and double-check everything.

From all the info that you guys have provided, it looks like I might have been the first car to miss the Madame Butterfly a couple of weeks ago. I have the last VIN number listed and one of the first "vessel load" times. I'm just glad to be safely en route!!

Hopefully it won't have too long of a wait at the Panama Canal...

Yeah, I've heard rumors about waits at the canal. But I see WW has a schedule... Max1 was on Titus, and she was right on time... flew through the canal. (relatively speaking, of course.) So, I'm guessing no delay of significance at the canal. We'll know for sure in less than a week....
