Anyone talk to their MA about delivery dates yet? Yesterday I talked to mine and he said he didn't have updated paperwork yet. They don't want to over commit, he said he'd call me when it's here.

So, can everyone commit to posting on this thread when they get info from their MA or actually take delivery so the rest of us can get a better idea?

 

Well as I said earlier in the thread my MA said it should be ready to pick up the 2nd or 3rd, which doesn't really seem to be the case anymore. I haven't gotten a more recent update yet but I'm really, really hoping I get it this week which shouldn't be too much of a problem since my dealer is about an hour and a half away from the VDC.

 

I've got an appointment to pick mine up Saturday morning, the 7th but I asked my MA to let me know if it comes in earlier.

P.S. My dealer is South Bay MINI, about 70 miles from the VDC.

 

Good Luck! Although distance from the VDC may not matter depending on the process they have for running cars through, i.e. options, first in/first out, etc. I'm thinking I'll have mine a week from today.

Plus, ya think they work on the 4th? Probably not.

Who knows, could be on a truck right now headed to your dealer.

Actually, my MA said my car was "released to trucking" so I think it is headed there or waiting for a truck to pick it up or something. I'm pretty sure this means it's through the VDC at least. This part of the waiting is just as opaque as the rest was.

 

My MA says arriving Albuquerque 7/7 or 7/9!

 

Man, that's terrific. Off the boat yesterday, on the truck today. I think it's all about you getting that screen capture in the canal! You have a charmed "Mini"-existence.

Go motor Mulholland or PV or PCH up to Malibu on Saturday, but take pictures so us less fortunate can live vicariously through you.

I had a similar plan except it involved the canyons of Malibu

Unfortunately that plan will probably have to be put on hold since I'll be going out of town for a month almost immediately after getting the car, and I'm not driving out of town either!

 

I have been lurking..... but this is my first post..... Got a call from my MA today and am picking up MC Kahuna on Saturday at 9:00 am. I live in the SF Bay area and my dealer is East Bay Mini in Pleasanton CA.

 

little timmy it looks like your car was also released to trucking pending that you have the long last name i just looked at! with delivery over the weekend looking amazing...

and Rover we are still on time no car today so i am assuming it will show up thursday (as we are not getting any trucks tomorrow as far as i know)... i will keep you posted worst case we will deliver as scheduled on Satruday best case probably Friday!!!

 

That would be me and that's great news! If you're still reading this, would thursday be a possible pickup day or would it have to wait till the weekend?

 

grrr...anyone have delivery date for concord mini? seems like my MA is on vacation..

 

Lody - since your MA is gone there has to be someone backfilling for him/her.
You might check to see if that is the case and see if they know of an ETA. *shurgs*

 

I'm sure most MAs will be able to help you out. As you can see in this thread, although she isn't my MA, Amanda was very helpful with providing me information while mine was off for the holiday.

Who is your MA? I had orginally ordered from Concord Mini. There is a car sitting on their lot right now that was supposed to be mine. But when I ordered the auto air and the comfort access, I thought I had to order those to have air conditioning and keyless unlocking. I did not realize I was ordering upgrades from standard features and the MA did not go over it with me. I ordered 04/29 and by 05/01 it was already to late to make changes as it was already scheduled for production. I offered to split the difference but they said no, accept it as it was or cancel the order. I canceled. Later they came back and were willing to split the difference. There were however 2 other errors made with the order including star blaster wheels (which I absolutely hate) instead of the bridge spoke wheels. They would not swap out the wheels so the Lightening Blue/White roof/caps with the manual 6 speed for $22,450 on their web-site that was supposed to be mine is now sitting on their lot. Oh well..... I pick up my MC from East Bay Mini this Sat.

I guess I should appreciate the last little bit of madness the wait is imposing on me, but oh boy am I excited to go pick it up tomorrow!!!!

 

I am getting mine from Mini of Mountain View in Northern California. Checked today and it has it as a tenative delivery on July 9. It does not show its on a truck yet.

 

I sent a PM to Jarid but haven't heard back yet...will call tomorrow. It's possible he is out for the week due to the Fourth.
