To be honest, my post was the result of a brain f**t. I misinterpreted what I was seeing on the SG. I should have played with it a bit before asking dumb questions.

Sorry for bumping up an old thread but I need to ask what I think might be a noobish question...

Does using/installing one of these void your warranty or the maintenance contract?

NO it doesn't void your warranty in any way. Also check out the new Scangauge E, it's only $99

Great photos. You mounted the Scangauge exactly where I was planning to mount mine. What did you use to mount the Scangauge? I don't see any flexpod type of mount in your pictures. I would appreciate any information you can give me.

That is where I mounted mine by using velcro tape. Easy job and also handy to see and change functions there. Quick switch when you get a new MINI also.

Byron, I mounted mine in just about the same place using a home-made plastic mount that screws onto the back of the tach. See:
