Dark Grey Colorline, Any Pictures?

Does anyone have dark grey colorline? When I use the configurator, it seems that dark grey colorline is actually lighter than the standard grey. I have seen pictures of standard grey and all the other colorlines except dark grey. Anyone got it? Please post them thanks!!

There is only one gray colorline. It gets you gray armrests on the door and a gray strip along the dash, under the oak/alloy/etc trim and above the glovebox.

If you're confusing it with the GothamGray interior, that changes the door and other interior panels from black to light gray. You still get the dark gray colorline (armrests and dash trim) with GothamGray.

There is a "Dark Grey Color Line" that is a $200 option on the configurator. It is right before the Cream Color Line option. I am just wondering if there is any difference between the standard Grey Color Line (included) and the $200 optional Dark Grey Color Line. I would expect the Dark Grey Color Line to be a darker grey more toward black, but when I click it on the configurator, the grey color on the dash and armrest actually became lighter.

Ok, I've played with the configurator and see what you mean. If you keep the leatherette, it shows the dark grey as a $200 option. If you select any upholstery (besides leatherette or cloth), the dark grey shows as standard.

HERE is the "Post your interior pics" thread. Trinity07, Z3bum, and Ryephile all have the "standard" grey with their cloth or leatherette seats. I don't see any real difference between their grey and my grey (I do have "dark grey"). I suspect that you get the dark grey "for free" if you pick cloth or leatherette, and that there aren't two different greys.

That is true , the "standard grey" is the same color as "dark grey". The other grey is "Gotham Grey" which is very light.

Just to note though, Gotham Grey affects the interior panels; not the dash or armrests.

Thanks. I think I got it now. It is strange that they offer the option to pay for dark grey when it is already dark grey.

They offer the option to pay for lots of things that are simply different colors... Oh, you would like clear plastic instead of yellow? That'll be $100. A different color headliner made of exactly the same material? That'll be $200.

It's ridiculous.

This is the standard Cooper interior (Fine White Silver) with:
Cloth seats: Checkered Carbon Black
and optional Dark Grey Colorline
and optional muddy rubber floormats
Note that the configuator does not accurately represent this combination - it shows the door ellipses as being silver.
