Anyone know the capacities for the engine oil, differential oil, and transmission? Will be doing a new car post-breakin change. The dealer seems reluctant to give me the info.

Check your owner's manual and if not there--Google it. Worked for me.

 

I know the engine oil is 4.5 quarts just from changing it already. The owners manual has the rest of the quantities.

 

MINI says the engine oil is 4.4 quarts. The transmission used around 2 quarts of oil when I changed it (by accident) I didn't try to measure the transmission oil amount, rather I pumped oil into the fill port till it squirted back out (the old way to do it) and then replaced the bolt. The transmission shifts quite smoothly with the Mobil 1 gear oil. Probably would do even better with Redline.

 

My owners manual certainly does not have fluid capacities except for fuel. Otherwise I would not have asked the question.

Page 151 of the '06 owners manual (PDF version) does have some capacities though not all the ones you are looking for.
Fuel, Oil, washer, coolant is all it has.
