I'm both happy and jealous of you east coasters. When do you dock again?

 

If all goes to plan Jun 11th, THIS MONDAY! I don't know how you west coasters do it. It must seem like a year.

 

When is your ship going throught the Panama Canal? I'd like to check it out.

 

WW says the 16th, but not sure how to check the time. And yeah, the longer wait sucks, but at least I made the boat.

 

Sorry for the absence from the forums over the past week, I was out due to massive travel. Anyway, it seems my MCS made it to one of the K-line ships. Does anyone remember the name of their ship headed this way?

 

Was it EMDEN?

 

And isn't there also a ship stopping in Canada first?

To tell you the truth, I have resigned to my fate. I know for a fact my MINI won't be here until atleast another 2 or 3 weeks. That gives me enough time to sort out the more important things in life.

Just called 866-AM and they said they can no longer track it. I have to contact my dealer for info. However I called my MA today and her voice mail said she will be out till the 19th ! I'm going there AM wed for a service appt on my car so I'll see if they can give me an update. It's at the VDC so hopefully it will be here soon.

 

Is there any way to track the car after it is off the boat. The suspense is killing me!!!!!

My Mini was discharged from the ship yesterday, I guess she's at the VDC. I can't take the wait any longer :impatient . I see Mini's every where, they're taunting me. My wife thinks I have lost my mind, she may be right . I'm sure glad I found NAM, it's good to know your not alone in this madness. Maybe I'll join my local club today, DCMM here I come.

 

Wed I went in for service on SMILES and checked on the wifes MINI. I't wasn't on their list of incoming cars but he said he thinks it will be at the dealer in the next week. We are in Florida on vacation till the 23rd so it should be all good. Mgibrace did you catch yours going through the Panama Canal? I missed it I think as that was a travel day for us, hopefully it was cool.

 

Missed it due to that darn work thing. Then seems like the ship spent a day or so after clearing the locks before starting up the coast. Due to dock on the 23rd. Interestingly, my MA gave a 27th docking. Hoping for the earlier arrival as I just sold my old 930 and am now without a fun street car, only the Burb and the motorcycle.

So even if your new one arrives, you don't get it till the 24th earliest? Oh well, Best of luck.

Anyone have a car yet? I need vicarious thrills!

Mine has been at the VDC since 6.16.07. As of late last night my OL order tracking status was "at distribution center", but since 6.18.07 under "review order detail" it had an "estimated delivery date" of 6/19/07. My MA tells me they don't get any info from the VDC but they will call as soon as it is in. I checked just now my status has changed to "at your mini dealer" . I hope I'll be taking delivery today! - I'll post pics, after a very very long drive.

 

Nice. Most of you are gonna get your cars this weekend! The Maersk Wind should be off the tip of Baja and unloading over the weekend, so us west coasters aren't too far behind.
