If your's finishes on the 11th, then there is a good chance that your's and my wifes will most likely be on the same ship. We'll miss the one that departs on 6/9, but should get on the one that sets sail on 6/16, arriving into Charleson, SC on 6/30. With any luck at all, they should be ready to delivery and pickup the weekend after the 4th.
Woot! that's awesome. Thanks for the port info.

Found out from a friend at the plant (who actually helped build my car!) that my car officially rolled off the assembly line at 12:35am lastnight! I'm hoping it makes it down to port quickly...

I thought you guys would appreciate this recent post on MotoringFile as well: Buying a 2007 MCS: Production Completed

So I take it the plant runs 24 hours a day? Is it open 7 days as well?

I've been wondering how paint works. Do they always run all colors? Or do they have "color runs", all black for 12 hours, all yellow for 12 hours..... ??

I'm in the body shop today, with a completion on 6/9 or 6/10, so I guess that puts me in week 23!

I'm sorry for the confusion guys.
Since I'll finish on 6/10, it doesn't seem like I'll be able to make the MADAME BUTTERFLY. According to gforce23, the TASCO should be leaving 6/18, but when I searched the next available was MANON on 6/25.

Has anyone else been able to find the TASCO leaving on 6/18? If there is nothing leaving on 6/18, it would suck to know I missed the 6/10 by a few days and have to wait an extra 2 weeks for the next boat. Oh well, at least I know it's coming by the end of July!

It looks like something happened to the TASCO. A PDF is attached showing the ships travelling between Southampton and Port Hueneme as of 5/18. I don't see it there anymore.

rover and gforce, Check the OL as I just switched to in transit. Maybe you got lucky. WW still doesn't have anything for me, so maybe we snuck in!

I wish!...

No luck, OL still has me as "awaiting transport". I think your car got to the dock a couple of days before mine. My car arrived there on 6/5.

The booking number for my earlier car on the MAERSK WIND is GBSOU536259. You could try checking the VINs attached to that. There are over 500 cars on that booking number and I don't know if MINI uses more than one booking number per voyage.

Thanks for the support, Mgibrace. I haven't seen anyone else say their car was booked on MADAME BUTTERFLY (6/11) yet so that looks my best hope at the moment.

Funny, WW still has nothing and my VIN is listed in the Booking #. Had to read it a couple of times to find it, but there she was. And when I put my vin in with caps, that little ' came up again???

rover, thanks, I needed that.

My port to ship time was 3 days, so you're set with your 7.

Mgibrace,
When I paste my VIN into the search field text box, the numeral "1" gets cut off on the right side and looks like an apostrophe. What happens if you copy the VIN from the booking number list and paste it into the auto cargo tracking page?

I get a positive hit for the first time that shows I was at the port 5/31. There is a little loss of the vin at the right, but still get a + hit. Once I got the ' , but not now. Maybe we're just reading too much into these little things that are probably just little bugs in the WW site.

Just tried a direct enter at the WW site again under the vin and auto cargo and no joy and that damn little ' showed up with the no info page.

Seems like the WW site is not my friend.

Mgibrace,
Try to get confirmation from your MA tomorrow. According to ASK-MINI, they are the authoritative source once the car leaves the port.

According to my MA, my car was scheduled to go into production yesterday. When will it get completed and get on a ship?

I read people's comments on which part of the production line their MINI's are passing. How do you get this information?

My MINI is "scheduled for production" according to OL but it doesn't give any more detailed info. The automated response on AskMINI tells me there's a June 11 completion date, but again no info about daily/current prodution line location.

r56, You can see my experience with my sig. 10 days from prod start to dock. 5 days from dock to ship. Dock to ship can be from 3-8 days or more if west coast. so, forever..............

rover, I don't doubt I'm on the ship. I think my keyboard and WW don't like each other, so I can only backdoor it with cut and paste from the booking # you so nicely provided. MA not so helpful.

My car is Awaiting transport!!!!!!!!!! I just checked at MINIUSA.com and the status has been changed from scheduled for production. Will it get on the ship on the 11th then? How long to the west coast once it gets loaded on the ship?
