R56 R56 Week 23 Production Support Group
I just checked from my car and it now shows "loaded on vessel". Woohoo!
How can one fine out which ship an ordered MCS will be traveling on? I just called ASKMINI, and they said that my MINI is on it's way to the port but cannot tell me which vessel it will board. Production was completed on 6/10/07, so I think that I made the tail end of week 23.
I don't even have a booked line, so my hopes are fading!
My MA said that he'd know tomorrow about shipping info.
Well, for the past 3 days my wifes has indicated that it is in the paint shop. Didn't realize that it would take 3 days to paint a PW/B MINI
She's going nuts hoping that it is finished so that it can make it on the boat by the 16th.

I too am hoping for the 16th..
Hi notmestl.... What ship is on the 16th and where can I find a schedule? ASKMINI said that they won't know which vessel my MINI will travel on. How do you tell where a ship is going to dock? Are you on the west coast? I am in Southern California.
For those who arrived late to the port and were hoping to get on the MADAME BUTTERFLY, I noticed cars were still being "received at terminal" as late as 7:30am June 11th. Some of those could have made it onto the ship as the number of cars in the booking number changed from 223 to 302 this morning. Also, others have not found their cars to be on a ship until a day or two after it sailed.
I agree, the MA should be able to give the best answer to this question.

Paradude,
Here's the schedule:

Once the car is done, put the vin#, and find out if she is on the boat:

Mine arrived at the terminal on 6/7/07. It still doesn't say loaded. :( And the vessel has left the port. I gues my MINI will catch the next boat.
But if my MINI was booked to be loaded on Madame butterfly, how could it be left at the port? Do they over book sometimes? Or is the status just not updated to loaded? The ship has departed already.

She called and spoke to someone and found out that her MINI was completed very early on Sunday morning the 10th, and that it was on it's way to the port. They thought that it might be at the port by sometime this evening.
WooHoo!!
WooHoo!!
But at least I'm now sitting on the dock...just waitin' ta go! "Hey there big fella...goin' my way?"
I checked with Ask MINI and since I'm at the dock that means I'm not on the MADAME BUTTERFLY
. For those going to the West Coast, according to WW the next ride to Port Hueneme will be on the MANON:
Departure: 25/06/2007
Arrival: 16/07/2007
Vessel: MANON
Voyage: ED725-MAN
Transit (Days): 21
This seems to match what the Ask MINI people were saying as a week and a half wait for the next ship.

Hopefully, I will be able to break it in in a week....go to the beach a couple of times.... Oh yeah.. I ordered on 3/26 IIRC. 4 full months of wait.
I am going insane.
There could be a ship sooner than MANON from a different line. If they wait that long, it seems like they'll overload the VDC. On the other hand, if there was a lull in production it could work out.
My wifes is most likely at the port as well waiting for a ship.
Can't seem to get much information now until a ship docks, as I can't seem to find what the booking number would be for the Freedom. The Freedom is due to set sail on 6/16, and the Emden is due to set sail on 6/15.
Hopefully we get on one of those 2, otherwise the next ship isn't until the 22nd or 23rd.
Thanks for the the reply. Everything has gone really fast since I ordered my car on May 26th. I'm afraid it's really going to seem like time is dragging from now on. Good luck on yours.
Just a correction, the Emden leaves Bremerhaven on 6/15. It leaves Southampton on the 17th.
I'm pretty sure your port will be Charleston, SC. If you end up on a WW ship, you just might make the Freedom, but if they put you on a K-Line, then you might be on the Emden.

I keep looking at the W&W tracking to see if I'm on the Freedom, no luck so far. Does K-Line have the same tracking for autos? All I could find was container tracking and schedules. No VIN tracking.
Thanks,
Thanks,
