You might be.

So either you're pitiful or it's a sign of distinction......let's go with the latter, okay?!?!

I too have it memorized - was tired doing the cut/paste , it was just easier to type it in everyday. So - I guess you call it VIN Memorization Dysfunction (VMD)

Me too. (at least the last 7 characters).
I use it frequently on the TIS, ETK, realoem site, and at first on the WW site.

I did not memorize my VIN. I have a hard enough time with my address. In NJ, my house address was just "6". I could remember that. Here, it's almost as long as my VIN, as are the license plates. What's with this State?????

Memorized my VIN, and order production number. I also figured out how to call 866-ASK-MINI and use the dial pad instead of the voice activation. So now my fingers know exactly how to get my vehicle production status without me uttering a word.

I did it mostly because my cubicle neighbors got sick and tired of me saying "Vehicle Production Status..." every hour. One of them heard it so much that he started impersonating me like a parrot.

You have no better use of your brain cells than to memorize a VIN or a portion of it ??

Or are you some kind of savant with unlimited brainpower ?

i don't have ne kids yet... my mom has mine memorized though... i do have the hubbys memorized...

i'm that way with numbers... if i have to use it a lot, i just end up accidentally memorizing it... when i worked the front desk at my first hotel job, i used to have regular guests Priority Club membership numbers memorized... i know almost all of my credit card numbers by heart and still remember my first boyfriends number in the 2nd grade... lol... it drives me nuts... i can't remember important things but I can remember a damn number i don't use anymore for over 19 years... :impatient
