Some new parts going on!

Well the dealer is finally getting my Aero kit installed tomorrow. All in all not a bad experience with the dealer. They are quick with their services. The good part about them putting my kit on is that i will be bringing home the spare bumpers and side skirts also. They are also installing my JCW e-brake handle. I posted up about how to install it, but got no replies. So i did some research and found out it gets epoxied on the e-brake post itself. So be forewarned if you get one that you will have to do the same or come up with another way to put it in. I'll have to post up some pics when the work is done.

I saw a pepper white MCS with the Aero kit at the dealer's yesterday. Looked great!

Maybe I'll see you up at the dealer, devious. I'm waiting on the call from Parts telling me that my JCW steering wheel is in - then headed up for installation.

I be the anxious looking one in the waiting room I hate it when they disappear back into the service bays with my baby.

I totally understand what you mean. I hate letting someone else work on my car. Thats why i always do the walk around on it before i give up the keys if i can. I don't want any new scratches or anything.

Did you get the leather or alcantara wheel? Did you also have the MFSW?

I have the sport MFSW in leather now and love it. I just wish i had the carbon bits on it. I also noticed the JCW seats on the JCW website yesterday They were seriously the coolest seats i have seen in a long while.

Went with alcantara, and yes I have the MFSW. I love the look and feel of the leather/suede. I had a custom black/red leather/suede steering wheel cover made (and the thickness rocks!) but after only 4 months it's fading horribly and the red suede shows the dirt and oils from my hands. It looks awful. So I just bit the bullet and ordered the JCW. I shouldn't have gone "cheap(er)" and just ordered the JCW in the first place. Lesson learned.

I ended up going with the leather for the jcw **** and ebrake handle. I am looking into getting the seats embroidered with maybe a mini logo, or a jcw logo or something along those lines. I have to do some research around here and see who all does it in town and how much. let me know how you like the new wheel. I know the shift **** feels a lot better than stock.

Given rush hour traffic in San Diego, the poor guy probably isn't even home yet.

escondido blowwwwws. I hate traffic on the N-15. It took me almost an hour to drive the 30miles north. I still have to go to the body shop and get my old parts this week, but i did get home around 7pm with all the new goodies on the car. it was already getting dark so i'll have to take and get the pics tomorrow. I cannot believe how much better the car looks now. the carbon hand brake and shift **** are way better than stock IMO. I also have the JCW door sills now, they look really good on the dark silver.

Tig-you get your wheel installed today? what is your take on it so far? I also spyed a GP cooper sitting outside the parts department when i showed up to pick up the car. That car is pure sexy! I want the wheels so bad.
