So the weather just warmed up and wanted to ride with the windows down. When I tried to open the sunroof it opened and shut. Like it was stuck. So I tried again. The motor is trying but right as it starts to open it drops right back. There is a pop sound with the motor noise. So I ran my ac after a bit when it cooled down inside I tried the sunroof again and it opened all the way no problem. What would cause this? I’d like to get it fixed ASAP.

Much better when the sunroof won’t open than when the sunroof won’t close!
Check alignment, clean and lube the tracks, try to re-initialize, and cross your fingers tightly.
Can take the cover off of the unit and move it manually with a 4 mm hex (takes a bit of effort).
Definitely have to re-initialize it if you move it manually.
