High Output Alternator INSTALLED

Ok, so after not getting anywhere in finding out if anyone has successfully installed and ran a high output alternator in a 2013 clubman, I pulled the trigger and did it. Installed a high output alternator in a regular 2013 clubman and so far so good. No warnings, codes, chimes, bells, whistles, or anything else to indicate the car doesn't like it. Also did the big 3 upgrade and installed a deep cycle performance battery. AND I did not have to do any battery programming.
Now that that is done, time to prepare for the massive audio install I've been planning for a year (laughs maniacally).

Now that I've had it setup for almost 2 months, still no ill effects. Everything runs as it should and I am very pleased. Still need to install all the audio... Baby steps.

At full tilt, 250 amps. At idle it's around 150 amps.

Well folks....it died. The alt died. I think it was a poor rebuild. It worked fine this whole time. I've decided to pull it all out and go a different route. Anyone else install a HO alt and not have any issues?

Why the need? Do you run a system?

How much was it? Hard to install?

Need: to keep up with my ridiculous audio system.
Cost: about $500 for the custom alt and another $200 to have it and big 3 upgrade installed.
Hard, not really... Just on the wallet. Ha
