Anyone using HID's in their halogen head and fog lights?

Yesterday I was at a car show and bought a few raffle tickets and actually won two sets of HID's from a local company who fitting cars with HID's is all their business. I have noticed a pretty strong cutoff line on my Clubmans halogen headlights but don't want to terribly blind oncoming traffic, and I commute 25 miles each way to work in the dark out in the desert where there are no street lights on the freeway, so the extra light would be very nice.

Just deciding if I should install these or get the kits and sell them?

You can use the SPEC-D HLs(projectors) from eBay. They're like $280-300. Use those and the HID kit and if you're good with wires you'll be all set. If not have someone professionally do it. It'll be a huge upgrade.

I don't see anything from SPEC-D on Ebay for the Clubman, is there a difference between our headlights and say like 02-06 Headlights? I saw these and they look pretty cool. I don't think I would install the halo over the headlight but the LED's would be pretty trick.

Those lights could make everyone go crazy. You will have to install them at the right angle to not cause problem to oncoming traffic.

Converted HID lights in halogen housings. They really do blind other's.

Yes you can't use the 02-06 HLs. Just search projectors for R55-R59. And you'll find the years you're looking for.

As for fog lights, you can definitely use the hid kit for it, it won't blind traffic.
