The MINI already comes with a cold air intake and most aftermarket units will just make a little more noise without making noticeable gains on their own. Your bet bang will be a tune. The factory JCW tuning kit is the most expensive, but it is the only one that will retain your factory warranty. There are others out there that are a lot cheaper.
If you can find an Alta Access Port for sale, that would be the best tuning option for a MINI with an N14 engine, like your 2010. There are canned tunes for it, but a tuner can make a custom tune for you, if they have a Cobb Access tuner for MINIs.
It was discontinued, because of changes to the ECU on N18 engines, but it is an excellent tuning device for the N14.
