Big Day Tomorrow

Tomorrow is the day that I order my very first Mini!
It's going to be an Eclipse Gray Clubman S, 6 speed with the JCW Aero package and interior package, chrome line.
I sold my 1962 Bug for the downpayment and now it's time, can't wait to be a part of the Mini Crew!

Great color! Are you doing body colored C-pillars or black? Any other packages? I personally wouldn't order the car without "Premium Package II" Sunroof and Auto AC.

I'd also suggest the chome line interior. The car will come with gray plastic around the speedo and vents. The chrome rings look fantastic even if you don't like chrome on the outside like me. I really don't think you'd regret getting it!

Awesome color combo. When you do get it post some pics and good luck.

Thanks guys, the C-pillars are going to be body color and I will be getting the chrome line interior, I seriously can't wait, it's going to be a long 8 weeks.
I, for some reason that I can't explain, am not interested in the sun-roof, the interior will be anthracite too.

One more thing, I can't make up my mind as to keep the roof color eclipse gray or go with a black roof and gray mirrors. I think that's going to be a last minute decision.

I say black. It'll make everything blend better when you inevitably decide to black out all of the chrome like everyone else here

I'm with Cal on this one. Don't hesitate to ask if you're interested in vinyl wrapping that chrome when the time comes. (Simi Valley)

Will do Nate, thanks.
I ordered the car without the black top, the whole car will be done in Eclipse Gray.

welcome to the future owners club. head over to 1st gear and join in the fun. there's also good info on how to track your mini as if your MA is the same as the rest of ours, you'll be doing all the tracking yourself.

Welcome Pro5jeff,

Your going to love your Clubman S.
The wait is hell, the tracking can be fun and it will all be well worth the wait.
I can say my Clubman S is a blast and a pleasure to drive, even though it's an automatic. The manual will be that much better

So true, so true. Sad, but so true.

You will find plenty of people like yourself waiting on their MINI's.
Talking with them here on the forum makes the wait a little more tolerable.
Have fun with it! Oh, before I forget, don't forget the popcorn.

Thanks everyone, the wait is already hell, couldn't sleep at all last night, my wife told me I was making engine sounds and it looked like I was shifting and leaning into the turns! That was one heck-of-a dream!!!!
I'm interested in what you guys are telling me about tracking my own car, are you saying I can track the build? Maybe you could give me the link for that, that would be awesome.
Thanks again,
Jeff

Nice dream!

Here is the link: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d-updated.html

The first gear part of the forum will not only have more info on tracking, but also has a support group for those MINI owners to-be.
