If you have the standard system, then getting good speakers and doing the front/rear channel swap will make a HUGE difference. Do it! (With the HK system, maybe not so much, I hear.) I paid the "Geek Squad" at Best Buy $75 to install the new rear speakers that I'd bought on Amazon -- well worth it. They used special tools I'd never seen before that let them do it in about an hour without removing the back seat. I'd previously paid another shop $100 to install my new front speakers - but I may have paid a bit too much, not sure. Enjoy!!

If good sound is important to you and you can spend the money, you owe it to yourself to check out Integral Audio. There is nothing on the market that can compare to this MINI specific audio solution. If you can't afford both the Soundstage and the subwoofer, than just go for the Soundstage. You won't regret it!

Welcome to the family! I've got the same color Clubman S. I went from a teal green civic to my Mini and I've had to learn 2 lessons...
1. Everyone easily remembers you when you inadvertanly **** them off.
2. Cops love my car and I have a hardwired Escort Passport to keep me from getting MORE tickets.

Liana's First Two Weeks
After two weeks, 400 miles, and some spirited driving, I'm still in love with her. You can find her pic under my "Meet Liana Post." She's a red Clubman S, Manual, and only added Sirius.
So far (finger's crossed) no problems. I got worried when I started hearing her back fire in sport mode, the realized it's a built in feature.
Kids love it too. They now fight over getting in backseat, not front. They love opening and closing the 3rd door.
I looked into speaker upgrades. I was told by a local audio shop it would cost 3-5K to do it. No chance on a leased card. I know there are less expensive kits, but what I really wanted to do was just put in some better speakers, but it seems more trouble than it's worth.
We are off for our first carwash tomorrow.
