Hello all..
I just picked up my 2012 Mini Clubman S (Hampton Edition) today..
I recently traded in my Mini Cooper S..

Anywho..
I just realized that the car didn't come with a cigarette lighter, just a plastic plug, and no cupholder ashtray..

Is this normal, or did the dealer forget to put them in the car?

That is normal. The smoker's package is an option from the factory. But you can order those parts individually, if you want.

 

You can get those from OutMotoring I believe, they're pretty cheap.

Going all the way back to most later r50 and r53 (gen1 cars in mini speak) those irems have been part of a "smokers package". Add them from a 3rd party as listed up above on the cheap if you want them...or dealer if you want to pay extra for the same parts...

 

They were standard on my 07 MCS. I'd sell you mine except I hacked up the ashtray for a GPS mount.
