Steering wheel question

I have seen two colors on Mini steering wheels....not sure if this is something that was changed at a certain year or something that is an upgrade....but going with the first since you arent allowed that option when building. I have a 2010 Clubman and have the silver "inserts" on the wheel and buttons on it. I saw someone that had theirs all black...any and all input it appreciated. I have looked on the forums and cant find what I am looking for, so if there is already a post about this please excuse me!

The inserts changed to black with the 2011 model year. All previous years were silver.

Yes, you can get them. Buy the black insert parts and swap them in.

Get them at the parts department of any MINI dealer. They'll look up the part numbers and order them (unlikely they'll have them in stock).

If you have the dealer install it, they'll probably charge an hour of labor. To do it yourself, look at the PDF in this thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...and-wheel.html
