Kozmo got crunched

Ruth luckily just has a small tender spot on the back of her hip. Nice to have your husband the EMT nearby to come check you out.

She was on hwy 85 in San Jose and the traffic came to a stop so did she with 6-8 feet in front of her when she got hit by a Chevy SUV which shoved Kozmo forward a few feet. She said she didn't hear any tire skreech from behind but she saw the SUV in the mirror and stood on the brake.

looked underneath and couldn't see any frame damage, one toasted bumper and 2 dings in the right barn door. But we shall see what the shop finds tomorrow

Glad no one was injured, and the car doesn't look too bad. A few other rear-ended Clubbies on here had mashed-in barn doors.

That's cool. My Tacoma (Tommy) got hit once...the guy had insurance. But he never reported to his insurance company. At the end, I had to take him to small claims court. That bastard.

We get Kosmo back on Friday from the body shop. Total damage was just the bumper and the two tiny dents on the right barn door. No frame, suspension, drivetrain, or exhaust system damage.

USAA is the very best! Their adjuster did a great job on my tree crushed clubmanS this week. The sure find a lot more wrong than what appears so be ready for a shock. ON the up side, they said the clubmanS is one of the best cars made with its double wall protection, which also increases labor costs to tear the thing apart to fix those dings and dents but keeps you way safer than most cars.
