Someone hit my new clubman on the freeway today and drove off :(

Does anyone know the names of the parts in the picture below and where i might be able to buy a replacement online?

circled in yellow - the entire black panel that covers the back lights
circled in orange - the back left side reflector

i would really appreciate any help. it is sad day.

You can type in your vin to get accurate results, but it appears to be number 9. Be careful, as some are in silver, some are in black, etc.

 

Sorry to hear about your boo-boo ... I don't know about you, but if somebody bumps my MINI, I take it very personally. But anyway...

Since the parts list doesn't specify multiple colors, there's a good chance the part comes unpainted and it will have to be painted to match your trim.

However ... if yours is black, as your picture indicates, Dupli-Color makes a gloss black acrylic enamel that's a perfect match for it. I had to touch up a spot on my wife's bumper (on her Clubbie, not HER bumper) where somebody backed into it and took the paint off. I picked up a can at Pep Boys. I'm not painter by any stretch, but I put on two light coats and one medium coat, and the finish matches the rest of the black perfectly. Your part looks small enough that one can should cover the whole thing.

The tail light surrounds come black, they may come in silver too, I just don't know. Super easy to replace. Three screws and three plastic clips. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. And it comes with the reflector. You got lucky on this one it seems.

one more quick question...does anyone know if the orange circled part is functional or is it just a reflector? also i cant seem to find it anywhere on the parts sites! any ideas?

It is a reflector only and is PART of the other part it sits on and as far as i know is NOT available separately.

 

schatzy62 - you are correct! Damn i thought that part would be less than 10 dollars, its $122.

Found one in ebay for $75 but it is silver. Not sure it is the correct side either. But there is some stuff there if you have time to look.
