Aftermarket Clubman Exhaust

I'm curious to know if anyone has put an aftermarket exhaust on their Clubman. I need to make mine growl a bit more so I think an exhaust is the way to go (I did put a JCW intake on the car last weekend). Oddly enough, on my 2008 Cooper, I had a DDM works intake and that put plenty of growl on that engine. I've looked at and heard good things about Miltek but there's not a dealer close enough to order one from.

Do a search there are a lot of different exhausts for the Clubman now.

I prefer the MagnaFlow for sound/price.

The difference in your bank account or the difference in your "PIPES"

I went with the Magnaflow and have been pleased with both the grunt and the style. The price was to good to not go for it.

I think I read that it was good for 12 to 18 HP?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I put the NM exhaust on mine. Yeah, it's one of the more expensive exhausts, but quality, sound and style are sometimes worth the extra money. Plus, I've had nothing but positive customer service experiences when I've talked to them, they've been more than willing to help when I have a problem, which has been my fault every time.

I'm leaning towards this one. Did you install it by yourself or pay someone to do it? Is it more audible in the car? As much as I hate to remove a brand new factory exhaust with only 2500 miles on it, I sure would like to hear more rumble from the engine...

I installed it myself, it wasn't too difficult. All you need is a socket set, a hacksaw, and a tape measure, and a friend. The friend is needed to ensure the exhaust stays straight as you tighten down. It doesn't sound quite a bit better, and you can definitely hear inside and outside of the car. I've had it on my car for about 8 months now, and have had no problems, and no regrets. Save your stock exhaust though, if you ever need any warranty work done, they'll want you to swap it out with the stock exhaust.
