I am thinking of getting stripes on my clubman S and wanted to see some pics first. I would love to see how they look first. Photos of a black clubman with Silver stripes would be even sweeter! Also wanted to know if there are any good quality alternatives to the MINI stripes offered? Thanks alot.

Can someone show me if, on a black roof with a red body color, the sport stripes go on the roof (as red?) or not at all?

I thought i saw a picture of a red mini, with a black roof, with strips on the roof...

 

isthar...a red mini with a black roof and sport stripes will have black on the bonnet, red on the roof and black on the boot.

ClubmanS-REX...I will be able to post pics of a dark silver with black stripes when I get my new Clubman.

More sport stripes here, reversed the colour (yes, Canadian spelling) on the roof... So, isthar, I think this is what you're talking about.

ClubmanS-REX - any vinyl shop can do the stripes. You don't have to get "official" ones. I went to a local guy who happens to have the contract with the local MINI dealer. He did my stripes and clear bra for a package price.

Lightning blue Clubman: had silver stripes originally, that I swapped to black after a minor mishap. . .
*also swapped "chrome" grill for black at same time.

 

So they even go over the sunroof... do you see through them?

 

On mine, no. I think if them as like an indirect sun screen. Also they remind me of the twin lines down the middle of a road.

I've seen some folks get a perforated stripe on the part that goes over the glass, but I like the way mine turnEd out.

When I get home, I'll post a picture of what they look like from the inside...

I have a black and silver clubman with black and silver contrasting stripes. I had a local sign co. that does custom wrapping on vehicles do mine and it was over $100 cheaper than the dealership. There are some pics in my gallery. Check it out and tell me what you think. Good luck.

 

Anyone know of a dependible company where I can get Viper Stripes for my Clubmans S? I've been looking online and I can't seem to find a good source.

i will go midnightblack/c pillars black with JCW front and nice RED big stripes..on my new R55 JCW when it comes in february 2010.

Thanks for the compliment. The car's having some work done on it today. I'll post some pictures of the rear ASAP. As you noticed, the stripes I put on are much wider than the standard dealer stripes. That being said, you will have to remove the rear door handles to make the barn door stripes look right. The shop I used had no problem with that. Red on black will look really good. Can't wait to see some pics in Feb. Good luck.
