Just curious, with the economy in a downturn is it taking less time from order to delivery to receive a Mini Clubman S? My MA is saying 60 to 90 days but what time has it been for you?

I ordered my Clubbie S on 2/13 and picked it up on March 25th. I thought this was exceptional although the MINI USA website was not very accurate re: car status at any one time.

also depends on if your dealer has an open order slot, the color you want, etc. and what coast you are on.

We ordered ours on June 2. As of Thursday, it was showing to be on the boat "En Route" from Oxford. It will be coming to Oklahoma City. We do not know what the time frame will be from here. I will repost on this thread when we actually get it - hopefully within the next couple weeks. Our dealer told us 6-8 weeks when we ordered ours.

 

Ordered mine on June 13 and it only got on the ship July 13. Not to arrive at Port Hueneme until July 31. But then I have another 3 week wait for it to be shipped to Hawaii...the price of paradise...

 

Ordered July 3. As of today, showing through assembly and waiting for shipment . . .

Do the Dealers wait until they have a full truckload (or whatever) before they put in an order? Meaning bigger Dealers have much faster order-delivery time?

I ordered mine on 7/13/2009. I was told 4 or 5 weeks until pick up. I am just hoping that the 1.9% can hold out for another month until I pick it up.

 

Agreed! My MA said he thought the 3.9 would be good through August. Here's hoping. I ordered on 7/3 and am hoping for an early August delivery.

My MCS was ordered 6/25. Should be in my drieway on 7/28. Overall I was very happy.

 

There are lots of variables including how long it could get delayed at the distribution center it is delivered to.

 

OK, I know that I'm very lucky, but I did all of my "building" online at MINIUSA. I did a LOT of reading and watched these posts very closely. I walked into my dealership and ordered my Clubman on 6/2 and took delivery on 7/8. It all depends on if you can get one of your dealers' slots that they hold. They changed one of their slots to what I wanted to order, and the rest is history.
Yup, I know I'm lucky!

 

Ordered mine 5/24, delivered to SanFrancisco Mini 07/10.
No special slot just regular production order.

For me, it was 9.5 weeks from order to pick-up. Dealer originally estimated 6-8 weeks. I think it is highly dependent on the dealer - whether they have an early pre-assigned slot you can fit in, or if you have to go to the end of the line.

 

If your dealer has a slot, and the car gets assigned a production number that week (within 5 days). you should be looking at 7-14 days until ready for transport from southhampton. 10 to 15 days across the ocean for east coast. two or three days through the VDC and wait for a ride to the dealer. My car was done at the vdc and didn't show up until 13 days later. Then I had to wait for the "Vinyl Specialist" to come back from vacation to get my clear bra put on. Ordered 5-30, i think took delivery 7-8
