Help me design my interior!

So, I'm pretty set on PW with black roof, etc (undecided about stripes). I am leaning toward Ray Cloth Cream White leather seats and Cream White Line interior. Two questions: Anybody have those seats and like them? What interior color goes best with the Cream White Line? I'd really appreciate your thoughts and any pics!

I'd go with the anthracite headliner and piano black with that combo. I haven't seen the white leather cloth combo in person, but I do like the leather/cloth seats quite a bit.

Keep this in mind. I was talking to an adviser that had a Ray Cream car in stock and she mentioned that it was very difficult to keep clean, even just at the dealer where the car wasn't seeing a lot of use.

I have Hot Chocolate with Cream White color line. I think it would look good with one of the black leathers too.

Maureec18,

Totally depends on what you have....kids / dogs / etc.....wear and tear would be a concern with the lighter colors but they do look great!!

Don't worry too much about stripes; there are lots of great aftermarket companies that make a variety of body stripe options.

FWIW I had the cordoba beige leather in an '05 and it was hot enough all the time to make me sweat and my shirt stuck to my back from it, very annoying. The new one has cloth in the seating area and leather or "pleather" on the sides. Also, you need to really be diligent about conditioning the leather, ours was showing signs of "cracking" on the side bolster (drivers' side) from entry and exit. Owned for 50 months and had 26k on it (summer/weekend driver).

Although not a Clubman (soon!) I have a PW/B MC 2008. It has Black Lounge Leather with white piping, Piano black, white cream line. Stunning. Nearly a year later - I still find great joy every time I get into this snazzy Mini.
Definitely go with the anthracite headliner - I did and it makes a positive difference. (My '04 doesn't have the anthracite and it doesn't look nearly as 'complete')

Good luck!

You may wish to sit on a phonebook or pillow while driving. It'll help you see over the dash.

Nice interior.

More questions

Thanks for all your input thus far! I do really like the look of the white leather/cloth combo, but am wondering about dirt/upkeep as I do have a child. How do people feel about the red leather/cloth combo? I also like the look of the black leather w/ white piping. My concerns about it are cost and whether it would be hot. I have leatherette now and do fine it a little hot sometimes. I would have thought real leather would breathe more but the pp's comments are making me wonder about that.

I have cream white color line in my clubman and its not THAT hard to keep clean. I have also seen the white leather in person and it looks good! Either stick with the piano black interior OR go with the oak dash/wood wheel. Bet it would look fantastic! Definitely go anthracite headliner....

i have a cr/b mccs w/ rooster red leather/black cloth interior...i wouldn't have ordered any other interior color line myself. i still don't understand why mini doesn't offer a complimentary interior color combo for every exterior color option. not sure how the red/black interior would look on a pw/b mcc though. no problems keeping it clean, but i don't have kids or pets.

note, the linked pix above are pre-anthracite headliner, which after nearly 8 months, is 99.9% installed now.

Hot Chocolate!

We took delivery a couple of weeks ago of a PW Clubbie off the showroom floor and the thing that made the deal was the Hot Chocolate interior. It has the cream white color line w/ piano black accents and the door and side panels are the chocolate brown. Very different than all of the black interiors we saw. The sport seats are brown cloth with the brown leather accents. Sorry I don't have pictures to post........yet!
