In my 2008 Clubman the climate control temperature adjusts only in 2 degree increments. I can specify 68 degrees or 70 degrees, but not 69 degrees, for example. In my wife's Camry, the climate control will go up or down at one degree at a time.
Does anyone know if there is a way to get one degree changes in driver preferences somewhere in the system? If not, this may have to go onto my list of things that drive me crazy about my R55, in which case I'll have to post to a different thread.
I wonder if one can even be accurate to 1º F, within a cabin. Of course it's accurate to 1º C, which is 2º F, which, to me, pretty much does it. Check that Camry with a thermometer and see if it really matters where you sit.
My Cadillac let me adjust to the half-degree. Now THAT will drive you nuts. I'm glad my MINI move two degrees per button push. Less pushing of buttons.
Of course, being auto climate control I don't ever need to adjust it. I haven't changed it since the first time when I got the car.
