How to use Bluetooth to listen to music

I have a '08 Clubman S and factory Bluetooth equipment. Works great with my Blackberry for Phone. I also have an iPod interface wherein my iPod is always connected.

Is there a way to play music on Blackberry Storm and have the Bluetooth play it in the MINI speakers?

I was going to say that it's not possible, but you've proven me wrong before I could even post!

As for streaming music directly from your phone via Bluetooth, it's not supported by Mini's Bluetooth system, it's for phone related info only.

But it actually can be done as long as you have a USB port in your MINI and it needs extra equipment from RIM (blackberry manufacturer)

I have it done with a device call the Blackberry Music Gateway.

To make it work is a little annoying thou.

1. plug in the cable from the Balckberry Music Gateway to the AUX connector.
2. start car or radio and select the AUX input
3. Plug in the USB cable from the Blackberry Music Gateway into the SUB port in the MINI. ( fi you plug this in before turning onthe radio it will not allow you to select the AUX input)
4. connect via bluetooth to the Blackberry Music Gateway and the Blackberry (any model that supports bluetooth) and away you go.
