R55 My poor baby is sick again
My poor baby is sick again
My 2009 Justa MCC is ka-chunking when it's shifting gears -- even from park to reverse.
Just dropped it off at the dealership, and will hopefully have some news on Monday. This is the second major thing that's gone wrong since I got it in February.
I will say that anyone in the Tampa, FL area who may be interested in a Mini should consider Ferman Mini in Palm Harbor instead of making the trek to Orlando. Their service guys have been fantastic, and the manager has been an absolute gem. The dealership was closed by the time I got there with the tow truck, but the manager gave me a phone number to call and they would come by with the keys to my loaner. Arrived, made the phone call, and not 5 minutes later my knight in shining armor (with a loaner key!) was there. The process was quick and painless, and I know my car is in good hands. I just hope this is the last time I have to make that ~30 mi drive before my first scheduled maintenance.

Only 30 miles. I wish many of us had that kind of a drive. Mine is 70 miles and have a bunch of friends in Maine where the closest dealer is in Massachusetts, two states away and more than 100 miles for many of them.
Sorry to read about your problems with the car. Please let us know what they diagnose it to be. You also may want to keep your eyes on this forum: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ms-issues-188/ about stock problems.
Best wishes for a full and quick recovery!
