Horizon Blue/Black top pictures anyone?

Hi All!

Well we are in a quandry......we are trying to decide which color combo to get. There are MANY pictures of the Pepper White with Black top and pillars but I have yet to encounter any of the Horizon Blue with Black Top and pillars.

Can someone point me in that direction? The configurator does not do it justice and I am trying to see if the Black roof/pillars on the Horizon Blue would make it just too dark. Right now the dealer has a Horizon Blue with Blue top and black pillars and we like it but are now wondering about the Black top/pillars on the horizon blue.

Any assistance would be appreciated greatly!

Regards,

Mike

I prefer the body color roof. Can't help with pics though. Not as many cars with body color roof seem to be out there. I went with Pepper White with Pepper White Roof and Black pillars.Go New Mexico!

The black roof with horizonblue is hard to find. I think it would make it too dark with tinted windows. Are you from NM? If so, how did you like the dealer here ?

I lived in NM from 1986 through 1996 in Albuquerque. Was there in Feb. and checked out Sandia Mini. I purchased my Clubman in SoCal, where I live now.
I have heard good things about Sandia Mini though.Black or dark roof, very hot in summer. Best of luck with your choice and car..

Check this thread:

There are some shots of a Horizon Blue Clubman with a black roof about 3/4 down the page. I was planning on ordering a body-color roof myself - similar concerns about it being too dark - but when I saw these pictures I thought wow, that looks great! (That was the final tweak in a six-week process of spec-tweaking.)

Good luck,

Brad

I know this is NOT Horizon Blue, but Here are two pictures of the Lightning Blue with the Black Roof. I like the Black Roof, looks really good. I'm just not a fan of the allover color with the black pillars.

Look in my Gallery for the PICS

Thanks for the link! I think that it is going to be tooooo dark for our tastes though. There is one at the dealership here that my wife clued me in on although it is not an "S". She does not like the black black...but would rather have the blue top black back. I have to agree with her on that one!

Now we have to decide between that combo and the Pepper White with the Black top and pillars.......ARRRRGHHHH the decisions......LOL

Pepper White with White roof....That was my choice and I love it.. Now that the Horizon Blue is out, my next pick would be the Horizon Blueone I configured with Body color roof and 16" Black spokes and Black Pillars. Whatever you do , Get the mirrors in Body color. Just my .02 cents..

Personally, I don't like the strong contrast - dark pillars with light body colors and vice-versa - but that's the beauty of the MINI. You can get it how *you* want it.

Have fun sorting it out!
