R55 Wow! Hyundai had me worried!

Check your math, homes. 3300 lbs./210 hp = 15.71 lb/hp. You weren't even close.
Now let's look at the Clubbie 2850 lbs./172 hp = 16.57 lb/hp. So, these two vehicles are very close in that regard. Additionally, if you figure that the Mini's overboost feature results in let's say 180hp, that figure drops to 15.83 vs. the Hyundai's 15.71, essentially a dead-heat.
And, since the Clubbie is significantly lighter, has more weight over its driving wheels, and the peak torque hits 500 rpm lower than the Genesis, I'm betting it'll get "out of the hole" a bit quicker than the Hyundai. If you have quick reflexes and can catch the Hyundai driver napping, I bet you could beat him thru the 1/4 mi.
I'm quite sure the Clubbie would waste the Genesis in an autocross, that extra weight is a killer on those tight courses.
Now, the next car I have to worry about is that Fiat Abarth 500 - 162 hp in a 2300 lb. package - that little bastid has GOTTA be fast as hell!

The V6 is better
it's got a 0-60 of 5.9 sec. Don't know the power to weight though...
Sure this car isn't the car for everyone here, but Hyundai is a company to watch. The comments about "it's still a Hyundai" echo what I herd when the Toyota Corona was coming over here. Look at Toyota now.
