Imagine my surprise today when I received a nicely packaged box from.......MiniUSA....Inside was the Mini Adventure Kit which I had read about.What a cool gift to receive..It contained a MousePad,Journal,Pen,Notepad,Card Holder w/cards,Antenna Ball(White ww/UnionJack,)Roadside Assistance Card,and puffy "ZUG" StickOn(Two pieces for the Barn doors). And a special pamphlet about Clubmans.. Way to Go Mini!
It came about seven weeks after I picked up my CooperS Clubman.

I was excited when I received mine. I don't know if they are still making them but don't forget to look for the secret compartment in your box. It is a decoder to be used with MINI magazine advertisements. I still haven't used mine yet.

 

I just got mine last night (9 weeks after purchase). It was fun to go through the things and yes, the child in me has me opening and trying all things that suggest otherwise. MINI is good about marketing itself and playing into our obsession .

 

It's always interesting to see which antenna ball is being included now. My cabrio came with an 8 ball and the Clubman came with a black ZUG ball.

My Adventure kit did not come with a ZUG ball for my Clubman. I don't want to give it away for those yet to receive theirs, but it had something red & blue on the antenna ball...

 

Bought my Clubbie January 9, received kit February 21 with a die (half a pair of dice) antenna ball - white with black dots - goes perfectly with my black top/pepper white Clubbie.

 

I had read about the Adventure Kit here, but kept quiet about it so my wife would be surprised, and it was worth it. She had a great time going through all the stuff in the box. Still waiting for my kids to accept the challenge of coming up with a good phrase to put in the window from the sticker-sheet of words. Those marketing people have got us dialed right in

 

I'm guessing I won't get one of these since my Clubman is pre-owned? Shame; sounds a lot of fun.

 

Wow HutchMHK, that NightFire Red look FABULOUS! What a great color!! I have yet to see one on the street, I'm guessing they're pretty rare. And I think the silver roof and accents really complement it quite well.

Of course, it isn't nearly as pretty as my Laser Blue/Black Clubbie, but not too shabby for 2nd best... Ya done good, son!

 

Hehe, thanks! It's the same color scheme my wife spotted in an ad on the back of one of my car magazines, and wouldn't you know it, they had one in the showroom when we went to look at them.

 

This might be a long shot but would anyone be willing to sell me their Adventure Kit if they have no desire to keep it?
