Help! Wiring driving me nuts

So I purchased a quad lights set up from VIP and installed the bracket and new grill without a problem(the middle bracket was quite a pain with tightening though). Anyways, I was looking at the instructions to install the Hella 500's and I'm absolutely confused. I have a pair of driving lights that I would like to hook up to the brights and a pair of fog lights that I would like to hook up to its own switch. How do I go about doing this? I have no idea where anything is(this includes the bright wiring or whatnot) No idea where to even start! Someone help? Color coded instructions would really help including any pictures or descriptions of where and what the parts look like.

Actually I believe I figured the how the driving lights will hook up(other than where the high beams circuit actually is). How does the fog lights(with its own switch) get wired?

This car is fully computer controlled it is not like the older cars where a switch was a switch. The switches in the Mini control a line that goes into a computer and the computer outputs the correct signal to the light, horn, wipers etc.

If you can tell me more about which switches you want to do what i can possibly help you or tell you it will not work.

So if i understand you correctly you have four (4) extra lights that you want to hook up.

One pair you want to come on when the High Beams are turned on.

The other pair you want to come on when you turn the fog lights on.

Is this correct?

What state do you live in?

Do you have the front Fog Light Switch in your car? (center console switch position 2nd from left.)

After these questions answered i can help and may have more questions.

I actually figured most of the wiring out. The wiring is independant of the system-this is the part that confused me. Nothing actually gets connected to the main fuse. Doh. I'll gladly help anyone else wanting to wire Hella 500's.

Ok, last hitch. How do you guys test which wire is the brights? There are 3 wires and they're all insulated so there's no way for me to place my screwdriver(the one that lights up if circuit's hot) on the wiring.

I installed the factory driving lights in my brother in laws '09 clubman for him. This was the EASIEST install to complete if you follow the instructions. It took me about and hour and a half to complete the job start to finish, 1 person!

Unfortunately the kit I have isn't OEM and instructions assume that you know some basic electrical wiring in a vehicle. Either way, I opted to use a circuit tester with a sharp point to poke through the different wires to test the brights circuit. Minimal cut and I'll just tape it back up.
