Curious if any one else did not receive there headliner as ordered and knowledge as to the time frame on back ordered items to have completed at there dealers.

 

This has been a problem since the Week 36 builds. Mine was one of the first to arrive without the AH in early October. Dealers may finally be getting in the replacement AHs. We have a support group going for Clubman owners missing the AH in the "2009 Mini Mis-Build Bulletin" thread. Join us!

 

My Clubman S came in w/o the ordered anthracite headliner; supposidly 1 of 36 in entire US
Several options were offered by MINI
I chose to have anthracite headliner installed by dealer when available at no cost to me

 

I'm calling shenanigans on there only being 36 Clubmans missing anthracite headliners. There have been 7 at my dealer alone!

+1 Many 'no AH' are noted in the thread mentioned above. Many more new owners just took their car as offered and posted no record. Still waiting for the parts for the dealer retrofit. Week 37 build.

 

The 36 number was from my dealer; they had 3 themselves

I guess we were lucky here in Albuquerque! I dont remember one person who had that problem here!

 

I ordered my Clubbie on 10/2/08 and took her home 2nd week November.

Charva: That doesn't sound right. Five weeks from order to delivery?? Most of us East Coasters took at least 16 weeks !! (West Coasters took even longer) Hmm... You must know somebody on the inside.

I'm week 37, no AH, still waiting for the dealer to call. (Though sporadic reports of botched headliner retrofits are starting to pop up on NAM and has me wondering if I'll do the switch when it comes...)

My MA told me there were no (that is Zero) AH installed in US bound Clubbies from about week 36 through somewheres in week 40. Some reports of missing AH in regular strength MINIs too, but more sporadic.

Also, not so many people opt for AH, my MA thought it was one in ten. So if MINI sells 10,000 clubbies in USA this year (that was MINI USA's estimate back in June) over a 10 month period (end of Feb to end of year) and 1,000 ordered the AH and for one month they had no supplies, about 100 orders got botched up. It's a WAG but what the heck.

 

I was week 43, got my CLubman last week with anthracite headliner.

 

My JCW Clubman just arrived this morning after being completed on NOV 15!!

I haven't been to the dealer to take delivery yet, but will verify that it has the anth headliner as spec'd

 

Ordered our Clubman S 10/2 and received it 3rd week of November with the Anthricite headliner. Niello Mini out or Sacramento. Got everything that was ordered. Also, paid MSRP - no preimium. Love this car!

 

My saleswoman Marie, told me that when I ordered my Clubbie, they had a # of cars reserved on the production line...or something to that effect, so as soon as my order was placed...it began production.

I sat next to her while she ordered the car and I was given a number to track it's whereabouts.

It really was only 5 and 1/2 weeks from ordering to arrival.

My local MINI dealer loves me.....this is my 3rd brand new MINI!!
