I just placed my deposit and order for a clubman. The MA mentioned that there is a shortage of leatherette at this time..... and it was affecting the orders a bit. So, if you are timing your order and want leatherette you might want to discuss this with your MA....
I got so excited about my order that I forgot to get any more details than that so I can't give you any specifics..but hope this helps someone.

*L*,,, okay,,okay, I know it sounds weird,,, but!! It is a thing that needs to be produced, right? And we all know that production can slow down or get bogged down.... I really hate to think that my precious MA would spin me a story...

Wish it made it possible for me to upgrade to leather with a discounted price..

 

I would just and *sigh* and say ok i guess u can just give me the lounge leather at no extra cost. Compromises i tell ya....

running over and hugging Krut,,, thank you for the verification! That was all my MA was intending, maybe I didn't word it just right but she is trying hard to juggle my date of production so it coincides with my current lease,, she just said she will have to keep an eye on it...
The extinction comments were hysterical though,, I am still chuckling...

 

I think they're also running out of Pepper White, Mellow Yellow, and Chili Red paint, so you'll have to go with the extra $500 metallic paint

 

I heard they are making Anthracite Headliners out of them ...

Thanks Tim,,,, I am really enjoying this group... I can take it!! It has made me chuckle alot the past 2 days!!

 

We ordered my husband a Clubman on Saturday and were told it was going to be a week 45 build and we would have a couple days to make changes before the production process started. We asked to add the anthracite headliner and it was already too late, the car had started production. My guess is that since our Clubman doesn't have leatherette, they are moving those cars through faster to keep production going while they wait for more leatherette to arrive?
