They Sell Themselves - Can I get Commissions?
I took my Clubman to the PSU MU game yesterday. It looks like I have 3 people who want to buy one.
2 are headed to Otto's and one to Mini of Pittsburgh!
Of course, I told them to go to NAM as well for more information. Do you think the dealers will pay commissions?

There have been times when Motoring Advisors I know have offered $50 (I think that is what is was) for a referral if the person ends up buying.
But the greatest commission is, of course, bringing another unsuspecting driver into the fold - especially if you live close enough to go on a couple of runs with them.

While we never received a commission per say, the 3 dealers we have bought MINIs from, have treated us very well, because they know we talk up both the brand and their dealerships.
We just bought a Clubman off the lot, Friday actually, and they were very kind in, from what I have ever seen a MINI dealer do, the price, trade-in value, and the ease of making the deal. Between my wife and I, this is our 4th MINI, so the sales staff did not need to educate us about the brand, just sit down and write it up. We knew they were busy with other customers at the time, so we let them get things done for the "new customers" and we just hung out.
Another thing about how I deal with the dealer. When it comes to warranty/service work, I work with the dealer about the issue, not with a chip on my shoulder, this goes a long way to being treated fairly.
I may get flamed by some that have had bad experiences with certain dealers, so be it, because if I had a bad time with a dealer, and they refused to play nice, well I'd go to another dealer, and hit them in the pocketbook, as all service/warranty work is the real money maker for the dealerships.

No, they sell themselves. You don't sell them.
How true!
It is nice to get new Mini owners in the fold too!
