Which side scuttle for HC or AB??

I am soon to place an order for my 4th MINI a JCW Clubman, either HC or AB, with silver roof-mirrors-C pillars. The stock JCW all-chrome looking side scuttles are not to my liking when there will be no other chrome pieces on the whole car .

I kinda like the BJ scuttle, but am not sure. Any pics or recommendations? Thanks!

The good news is you can get your scuttles any time, so don't sweat it too much right now.

A bit biased here, but I would say go with the Black Jack.

Will they still have the Astro Black? I thought it was discontinued, or perhaps that has not happened quite yet.

Ah yes, I know that back and forth well. No doubt you've searched out images of both the HC and AB. Good luck with your decision. I don't think you can go wrong.

How 'bout a body color scuttle? Try this...choose R56 from the side menu and choose Side Repeaters from the center menu.

Better hurry, AB stops production November. It is being replaced w/ Midnight black in December. IMHO, the midnight is much darker and more of a 'true' black, its still metallic though.

I have already ordered the Midnight black and am hoping for a week 50 or 51 production

And I'll pop in and add my two cents. I saw carbon fiber scuttles by aecarbon.com on here and ordered a set, and they came out great. It's an option if you don't want any chrome at all, it wouldn't look right on an HC but the black definitely.

I agree with the JCW options, they still have that chrome and they are EXPENSIVE!

Another seller has the new JCW style sidemarkers in cf as well, just started posting in exterior I believe.
