OEM Boot Mats

RealOEM lists two distinct boot mats. Anyone have experience with these, as in which fits where, does the non-skid mat cover the whole rear cargo area with the seats folded down...? (pics in my Gallery or at links if they don't show here)

FITTED LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT - Part# 51 47 0 416 184

NON-SKID MAT – Part# 51 47 0 427 483

Thanks,
Tom

I have no idea what that non-skid mat thing is, but I have the OEM boot mat for my R56. It fits VERY well and I give it two thumbs up.

Another vote for the "fitted" mat (which I have). The other one doesn't compute.

Heard back from Paul at Classic Mini, NAM vendor, that the "NON-SKID MAT" will cover the entire seats-folded cargo area, but with no rolled-up lip to contain around edges. At $32 (w/NAM discount), I may just have to try that one.

Wallyworld = WalMart.

The ones Cybergypsy refers to aren't actually boot mats, although they also work. The fit of the OEM mats is much tighter. I like the OEM better, personnally, but I tend to get a little messy.

Erm, I interpret 'entire seats-folded cargo area' as the area with the seats folded down. Indeed it sort of looks that way on that OEM site.

I just had a look at this part number at my local dealer and it's the size of the normal Clubman boot area with the seats up. It's just a mesh weave thing like you might put under a carpet to keep it sliding, or use as a placemat in an RV to keep your dishes from flying off the counter Did the counterman pull the wrong p/n?

Barley-
Should have updated - Jayson at Classic gave different size info than Paul, confirming what you found. Glad I didn't spend that $32.

Aye, thanks. NAM is well indexed by google, which is a blessing and a curse.

If anyone comes across a rubber non-skid for the entire cargo area (seats down), lemme know! Keenly interested!
