R55 Will THAT fit in a Clubman?
I've carried fly fishing gear too (to the Dragon last year in fact). But I don't have waders, as I usually either fish from shore or wet wade (ok, so I'm a fair weather fisherwoman). I believe if you get the racks, the Thule kayak carrier will fit them. Thule even makes a carrier that lowers it self so you can attach the kayak at a good height, then will raise itself up on top (kayak goes sideways). http://www.thule.com/en/US/Products/Watersports.aspx
Oops, just looked, I don't think the Hullavator works on the factory racks. But since you're rackless, you could go with the Thule aeros I think... there's a thread on that somewhere around here. Too early in the morning for me.
Enjoy and hope you caught a nice trout! I'm heading to Wyoming to do some fishing in about a week.

I'm currently at a hotel right now waiting to check into my new apartment and have the Clubman literally packed to the brim (the driver's seat will only go back about halfway). I'll try and take a picture or two before I unload in the morning.
All the tools need to build a foot bridge will fit.
circular saw, jigsaw, drill x2, drill kit, nails, hammer, tape measure, tape, clamps, 4 saw horses, table (street sign), router, router bits, triangles, power cords, chalk line, pencils, utility knife, sander, caulk gun, reciprocating saw, small wonder bar, large wonder bar, miter saw.
One Retrotec Q5E Blower Door enclosure integrity test fan* plus Safco 4050 collapsible dolly and hard hat will fit in a Clubman...thank God**.

*My company designs and installs clean agent fire suppression systems, and we use the door-fan test kit to determine how long a particular room will contain the heavier-than-air gas.
**I told my boss that the kit would fit in the Clubman without actually trying it out first.
And if anybody is curious: http://www.retrotec.com/Fire/Product.../Modelq5e.aspx

Where did you get the roof spoiler?
Hello! If I may ask, where did you get your roof spoiler? I'd like to get one for my Clubbie (Monty - pip, pip!!) Any info would be appreciated. Please send to: rlwainwright@gmail.com

RW - I ordered it when I spec'd my Mini on the configurator at Miniusa.com
It came installed from the factory. Pretty sure Mini dealerships can install one as well.
Keep in mind, if you have the roof rails, you can't add this particular spoiler.

I bought a new grill today for the house. When I pulled around to the loading dock the look on the warehouse guys face was priceless. You know the one, "it'll never fit you moron".
Well, I had to pull it out of the box but other than that it's still banded in the original packaging (507 sq inch Weber E-310 NG grill). It would have fit with the box with another 1" in width.

Picked up an unusual pivoting bookcase a friend gave me today. Discovered the absolute maximum vertical dimension for getting through the barn doors is 24". We had to take the trim off two sides to get it down from about 25 1/4" to just under 24". Including the base it is 51 1/2" high.
We had just enough room to lock the seat backs in palace with the seats all the way forward. I'm 6' 2" and wasn't even terribly uncomfortable on the hour's drive home.

Wife took the truck... MINI Went to the Hardware Store
Aloha!
Wife went to spiritual church, I went to man church (hardware store) to acquire the supplies to build a Dog Agility Dog Walk.
The clubman was able to transport three 6' x 1' x 0.5" pine planks, ten 1" x 4" x 6' pine boards, four cement blocks, and miscellaneous hardware. (dog came for the ride...)
Plenty of room to spare...
