My new BBQ missed fitting by an inch of height. Had to go home and get the SUV.

JOMO,
That's impressive! I am NOT showing that to my husband... or anyone else in his band... no, no, no!
I do want to point out, we have yet to get a full sized upright bass in the back of a clubbie, yes? (phew, Mocha is still safe from my hubby's hands!)

Anyone tried four wheels and tires? I will be taking a set of rims I just bought and the tires (seperately) to the shop next week to get the mounted and balanced. Clubbie didn't handle in the snow as well as my cooper s. I will post pictures after I get the tires in, and on the way home with the summer set in cargo.

So I never posted pictures cause (lame as this is) I can't figure out how to post them. I keep getting just the box with the red X every time I try to post pics. But non-the-less. Mounted or not mounted tires and rims fit in a clubbie no problem.

Yes, 4-17" summer tires and wheels, plus some extra cargo...plenty of space

I love my clubman cargo space; back in the 90's my wife and I used to own a Geo Metro (first car when I came to the US for graduate school) and we "packed" the car a couple of times with stuff (first: desktop, tv-27" and small appliances; second: papasan chair and stool, stereo, some pictures and frames, dinner set for seven...on sale! and cannot remember what else...old age). Compared with that little car (even thought I love it, went to visit folks, drove over 3K and just cost us around $80 for gas student budget always tight) the clubman is roomier and gas is amazing!!! (and before anybody get upset... I am not comparing them)

About your pictures clumanjenn, check the size of them, I was not able to load my first set because of size. Hope this help

There are two congas and a stand, a keyboard amp, bongos and another stand, a 16" djembe, a mic stand, a bag of mics and cables, another bag of cables, a bag of drum sticks, one more bag of assorted accessories, 2 extension cords, and, under the floor in the back, a synthesizer, two drum machines and some stomp boxes.

Okay so not technically inside, but how do you fit something 9ft long inside a Clubman, it's not going to happen.

Here is my new garage door, temporarily on top of the car.

The Guys at Lowes gave me a hard time about the garage door being bigger than the car before they hoisted it up on the rack.

Well, pardner, I'll see your Labrador and raise you one 80 lb. Doberman and a 60 lb. pitbull. And the BEST part of this whole deal? I can leave my windows WIDE open and NO ONE will dare try and ****** my Escort 8500 and Garmin Nuvi 765 sitting right there on the dash.

Unless, of course, "yer feelin' lucky, punk!"

Ok, yeah, no clubman here....

but since I've owned the Mini S for 2 weeks now I add something here.

4 wheels and tires WILL fit in a standard S with the seats down.
a 48x36 corkboard will go in the car, its just uncomfortable!

I really only came here cause the dogs.... I have 2 Boxers in my Mini!, a 54lb female, and a 65lb male. I love being able to leave the sunroof open and windows down.

Here is a drum machine, 4 synthesizers, and an amp - all battery-powered. There was even room for more gear in the car.

Thank goodness you didn't have to carry a 16 foot garage door.

All the old sheet rock and tile board from a 8' x 12' bathroom.

And not technically in but, then the new bath tub - 60" x 30" x 14"D porcelain on steel tub.

We didn't take a photo, but we put one of those molded plastic pools from Toys R Us (60 inch) in our Clubman along with my wife and two kids -- back seat up with car seats. My wife actually had to crawl in the back and the pool had to be crammed in over the kids with the passenger seat leaned forward and pushed all the way up. I had to drive with the seat as far forward as possible. An amazing feat considering I am 6'4. The things we do for our kids....

20 bags of rubber wood chips (redoing the front yard). Didn't get a picture but I also picked up my 52 inch sony LCD tv that was damaged when my house was struck by lightning from the repair shop.
