I wish I had noticed this thread about 30 min ago. I just unpacked my clubman.

The clubman will fit:

2 c-stands
2 13ft light stands
1 Pelican 1510
1 Elinchrom Ranger RX Kit
1 Storm case 2100
1 Back pack
2 25lb sand bags
2 Alien Bee medium soft boxes
1 Elinchrom Deepthroat box
1 Chimera 6ft box
1 White Lightening 800 that was missing its case.
And their is plenty of room for a passenger in the front seat.

Will Two Bikes Fit?

Looking closely at getting a Clubman. I love the roof rail option for hauling my kayaks. Love that the rear doors swing outward so they don't hit the roof mounted kayaks. Trying to find out how many full size bicycles I can fit into the cargo area. I rode my bike to the MINI dealer and was easily able to fit one bike inside. Need to make room for two. Has anyone tried it?

Based on this photo I snapped it looks like two would fit -

I love seeing people's faces when packing the MINI - clubman or not, it's just downright funny!

A pretty good bit of musical gear will fit in a Clubman.

There is a good-sized amp, two basses, a theremin, three bags of effects processors and gadgets, a box of microphones and cables, mic stands, a guitar stand and an extension cord.

Also, there was a synthesizer, more cables, a digital camera, a Nintendo DS and a large bass effects processor under the floor in the boot.

I had room for more stuff but I have to draw the line somewhere...

I had to shoo her out before loading the musical gear posted above.

Huge Pizza, Little Car

30" extra large pizza from Harrison, NJ - which I immediately drove four hours south back home to D.C.

It's great...

Not only was the pizza ridiculously HUGE, but it tasted AWESOME too!

I brought the pizza in (the next morning) to share with my coworkers and they all thought it was amazing as well...

Something about those New Jerseyans and their pizza... The state may not get a whole lot of respect, but their pies are hard to beat!

Unfortunately, DiggyDog, my dh says his two basses won't fit with all 4 of us people in my clubbie...

Of course my answer is: And the problem is?! Seriously, his bass amp I'd be afraid to put in the clubbie... it's so bloomin' heavy!

He's also not tried to put his upright in my clubbie- But when he goes and plays, he's usually not carrying just his own stuff, but a friend's as well- they carpool to gigs.

I think if planned right, you could get a nice drum kit in a clubbie...

LOL... forget the clubbie, did that pizza fit in the OVEN?! Seriously, how did you reheat it?
We usually ask the pizza places to par bake our pizza and leave it uncut, when we take one to go. That way, we can throw it on our stone when we get home and have a fresh, hot pizza...
That drive home must have been torture- your clubbie must have smelled sooooo good!

Well... We had to reheat the slices individually (in the microwave, unfortunately), most of which had to be broken down further still, since each slice was about 15 inches long!

Most of my coworkers simply opted to eat the slices cold and not even bother with reheating... Fortunately it was good enough to do so!

And the drive wasn't really 'torture'... My girlfriend and I stuffed ourselves full of pizza prior to the drive - the huge pie was ordered "to go" for the sole purpose of bringing it back to D.C. Totally worth it!

I just saw this - great pic!!! We have a grey, brought him to the dealership to jump in and ensure he fits! We were wondering if we should get a customer pad/bed made.
