http73 - Please pardon our American boorishness - I believe that's 110cm in metric terms. According to the Samsung website the package is around 108cm Wide x 80cm high x 38cm deep (at least when the "This Side Up" arrows are pointing up - hoping lurch didn't have a bumpy ride home). Cheers
I wish the pic was better, but in the Clubbie were 2 very large guys, 6 radio controlled submarines, full support gear, and a week's worth of luggage (luggage already removed in this pic, and in the hotel room). On the roof is a 7' Yakima ski box, with a 6.5' long R/C sub, a 3.5' long R/C sub, and some assorted support gear.
And, Nigel managed to average 34 mpg for the 1800 mile journey
tell us about your dog harnesses. Looks like you have them leashed to the passenger seatbelt?
My crazy photo of multiple dogs and gear aside, I am trying to figure out a good way to harness/leash my two (the shiba-x and the pug-x) in the back of the car for safety reasons.

The leashes are just "normal walking" leashes. I like them, because I can let the doggies pull against my resistance, so they get a good workout ;-) (personal trainer talking, ha!). Only one of them, the 10 months old chocolate puppy, is hooked... because she is ALL over the Clubbie otherwise and I can't drive. So I hooked her to that back seat little hook (the seats are obviously down), so she cannot get to the front of the car and help me drive.
I don't have mine on a leash while driving because they ride so well. I also put a small pillow between the rear seat and the arm rest. Also put one on top and under the arm rest and put towels over them so there is a nice cushion to prevent any damage or drool. I also put a plastic leaf bag over each seat prior to putting the poochstyle.com covers down. Works like a charm and definitely prevents a lot of mess in the clubbie. They love motoring in it!
I'm a pretty avid cyclist, and need to be able to fit at least one or two bicycles in the back of a clubman (I know I can get roof rails or an external carrier, but I have to be able to store the bikes inside of the car).
Has anyone here been able to get one or more bikes inside of a clubman? These are adult bicycles, one a larger "hybrid" style, the other a somewhat more compact road bike. Any replies are appreciated
From what I've read elsewhere here, one is tight, and you'll probably have to take both wheels off. Two would be tighter yet. I definitely wouldn't want them "loose" back there while underway, just because of the risk of damaging the interior.
