Seems there are a few folks using their Clubman to haul instruments. Here is mine:

People are amazed when I pull the bass out. Because of the two doors on the passenger side, the car is great for hauling the instrument.

Ikea chair...
While not the biggest item I've ever put in my Clubbie, it was the most awkward and challenging. I still don't know how I got it in and then out again.

Quote: Sticks out a little, but it fits well enough to take it to the repair shop.
That green Raleigh Tourist looks mighty good in that green MINI Clubman!

Fit 7 adults (including driver) in the R53. Folded seats down and sat in very awkward positions but was okay for the 3min drive.

So you fit a R53 w/7 adults into a Clubman? Just asking since we were talking about what fits into a clubman!
Do you have any pics?

Back in his college days, Hubby gave a lift to 6 hitchhiking girls in his Porsche 356. He stopped as a joke, and was surprised when they all piled in. Said shifting was a bit sketchy, but they all got there!

I put a kegerator in mine. Both seats all of the way back and down. This is where a clubbie really shines, flat floor, no hatch in the way, and a few more inches of space.
I thought I posted pics before but I guess I never did.

And you forgot to add, you have the pour spout correctly in position for the driver AND the passenger.

Imagine if u will a slow motion video of this MINI and it brakes hard to avoid another car, only to be head shot from behind with an oversized shotgun
8 bowling ***** moving slowly towards the front glass in various stages if top/side/left/right spin as if heading for the ultimate pocket shot!

Helped my folks redo their laminate flooring among other things. Here are two boxes of flooring, some T-Molding, Sofit vents and a couple of 1x4x4ft pieces of timber. Obviously could have fit a bunch more back there!

1GURU2,
What kind of seat was left for your cute little Boston? We have in common a Hot Chocolate Clubman + Boston Terrier. I rarely carry more than her, occasionally a folded lawn mower, and then she moves up front.

I fit an 8x12 rug in my 2009 R56 - and was able to close the hatch!

Cool thread. 2013 Clubman (new 12/12) & with a Major Move last Nov. I discovered I could haul LOT'S OF STUFF once I took the passenger seat out! Just today I drove 200+ miles with all this stuff inside... and ~ 180 pounds of steel shelving rack bits secured to the roof rack!

Not the first time either what with a major move undertaken last November....

Eight 17x7.5" wheels with tires: check!

(It was all I could do to get four into my old R53.)

I'd like to revive this thread!
This is from the summer, but the clubman is proving to be quite a surprisingly capable barnmobile
