Clubman names

Ok - I searched and I could not find any Clubman name thread - so here it goes. Please share!

Since I saw another thread with MINI names I have been trying to name mine since I picked it up on Saturday. I thought Grommit from Wallace and Grommit (color worked), then perhaps Tux because it is tuxedo colored - but no. And today it hit me - Stewie! Small, white, attitude and a "funny shape" yes Stewie it is!

(The search engine here is not very effective - I did find another thread!)

I dunno, I like "Tux" a lot, very classy and appropriate considering your colors. However, if "Stewie" fits and brings the right sentiments to mind, then (as you say) Stewie it is!

(FWIW, I cannot find much of what I'm looking for using the search engine here on NAM either, very frustrating.)

Neither warm nor fuzzy but I'm thinking 'Stormtrooper'.

Princess Leia: Aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?

My Car to Be

I'm getting a chili red with black top and the name will be Fenway as I'm an avid Red Sox fan of many decades. Go Sox 2004 2007 World Series Champions!

We have a Hot Choc/Black inbound... been thinking about names, Wookie, Chewie, Yorkie - more color tied, but it is all in play. LOVE Fenway.

I've got a laser blue on order. I think names should reflect something the owner really likes. For me, its the Grateful Dead, therefore my clubman will be "Stella Blue"

Mellow Yellow/Silver currently on the way, I have decided on "Shortbus" - no explanation necessary...

Decided on Maggie Mae. Went thru several female Beatles-inspired names and settled on this one. Gotta wait till Sept to meet her tho.

Sparkling Silver looks Lizard Green near dusk. DragonWagon became the name.

Good idea! I did find a thread on names when looking for Dark Silver owners, but it was not Clubman specific. The first thing I thought of was SilverSurfer so I threw it out there, and it passed! So, I guess that's my Clubman's name for now.

Well, after thinking about it for a while I have decided on a name change. SilverSurfer has nice ring to it, but I wanted something that would reflect the combined character of both the car and the owner. My ruminating brought me to one conclusion: Zim, named for Invader Zim. Quirky, spirited, iconic, and quite insane.

Couldn't agree more. I am big fan of Pearl Jam, so my laser blue/black on order will be Big Wave. I have also always considered myself a surfer even though I live in MN and never surfed.

PW, I was 'that close' to ordering a Pepper White MCS.

The name was going to be Pepper...or Storm Trooper.

Waited two years for mine and his name is Otto. It just seemed to be Otto from the first configuration last year. He's in my gallery if you want to sneak a peek at him. The gorilla navigator who travels in Otto is named Joe.

I grew up in NW Connecticut but visited Boston many times over the years. My husband and I took a tour of Fenway some years ago and even got to touch the Green Monster! Currently we live in VA but the ties for both of us are forever strong.

Nothing is set in stone - maybe first and middle name "Stewie Tux" - What did you name your Clubman?
