Have to get more time on it. So far only put about 20 miles on with the CAI.

Yeah, what Rockhouse said.
CAI is the first replacement I'm making.
Which brand is the only choice I need to make.

MBX5, where'd you get your CAI?
I haven't found that exact one online.

CAI for the Clubman is kind of a misnomer. You are actually just increasing your mini's ability to suck more air into the engine. BUT it is the same hot air UNLESS you use the $448.00 system from DDM that pulls air from the scoop & routes it to the box.
I'm all about cost effectiveness. I want more MPG. If this could get me 2 more MPG it would take me 6oK miles to recover the $4oo+ investment.
DDM makes no mileage claims. Anyone got any real world experience?

I sold it due to the noise from the turbo. The wife didn't like the sound at all. I didn't see much if any MPG gain when I had it on. The take off may have been better but not enough to notice. I got it from www.waymotorworks.com it's the street one.

I have had it on the car for about 3K miles and my average mpg is around 32.4. Sounds great though when you open it up, and hear the blow off valve. Makes your car breath better. Opened up all of the holes in the scoop, and am planning to get M7 carbon fiber scoop. Nice CAI though.

dal, what make of CAI did you order?

MBX noted his old lady made him get rid of his, due to noise.

The CAI is one of the easiest items to upgrade, so plenty of us, like rockouse and me want your recommendations.

I'm on the fence about this upgrade. Don't know if it's gonna do what I want.

MBX, I thought your Clubman was quiet today on the Mountain run. I love my DDM Works Street.

It makes people wonder what else you have done with your MINI. My exhaust is stock MCS, so you can really notice the CAI. This will change when I get a more aggressive exhaust in the next few weeks. Thinking Invidia Q300 or Alta 3 inch for the deepness.

Yes I had the stock exhaust still. It's funny you say that about what others think. The first ride I took after the install I had 2 people try to race LOL. It will draw attention
