"Welcome" package???

So I hear of all the excitement around this welcome/goody package everyone gets with the Coopers...do we get one with Clubmans too? I've heard it takes a month or so to come but I've had my car for close to 3 months now and no such present

Anyone??

It took about 3 months before I got mine with my Clubman. You should be getting it any day now I bet unless there is some snag in the system. You may have heard that the items in the package include a pen, mousepad, antenna die, journal, stickers, roadside assistance card, and possibly a couple more I can't think of right now. But it should come to you soon.

I have not heard a thing about the Clubman package so it will all be a surprise to me! Can't wait, good to hear it actually exists and that it will be here soon

"Clubman package"

Hate to sound like a cynic, but are you not sure that Santa Claus will deliver the "package"?

I've heard nothing about this, but will take anything that they give me if it looks good and fits on my Clubman.

Just curious to see if it existed is all...have seen the Cooper packages and they are awesome! A box full of fun

So was wondering if infact Clubman owners received one too? Haven't heard any buzz on them so assumed they didn't exist!

Tales of Santa aside, it does appear to exist. http://www.flickr.com/photos/aluvend...l-mini_clubman

Santa Tales

My apologies to Santa Claus! I was a little caustic because my dealer and the distributor that supplies him have stalled me on an order for five weeks, telling me that they had it in stock, only to find that they did not even have the item.

Hope that my next experience with the dealer on ordering items is more pleasurable. I expected more from Mini/BMW.

You should call MINIUSA and tell them - they will send you one...

Yup, give the # a call. I just did and they are sending mine (since one hasn't come for months). They were easy to talk to and ordered me one without any questions!

I assume so, StarryEyed. I read others getting their box of toys and I felt left out but finally, there it was sitting at my door step about 2 months after my Clubman delivery. All is well now.

Just so no one feels too slighted, I threw out everything in the kit except the pen and the little writing pad. Most of it is just juvenile marketing junk, and the split "Clubman" puffy sticker warns that, if used, it will permanently damage your paint! Way to go, MINI!

Ours showed up last night!

Oh, and miniclubman: The sticker says it -may- damage the paint when you remove it.
I'm pretty sure that the Cooper badges -may- also damage the paint if you remove them..
Its a standard legal warning, Mini-fied.

If anyone else dislikes their juvenile marketing junk, I'd love to get more of the little "Give Some Mini" cards.

Try to find some of the "marketing crap" from collectible cars in the past. Stupid things going for stupid money. But, when you have two identical cars at a car show the one that gets the points may sometimes be the one that is 'complete'.

I'll put the next gift box from MINI up for grabs on NAM, as some seem really enthusiastic about the treasures contained in the "welcome" kit. I guess I'm just not the collector type.

I received my "welcome box" about 6 weeks into ownership. By far I think this is the best welcome package of all the others I have received during the years (This is MINI #4 for us)

Love the pen and most of the contents.
