Foldup Grocery Bag

Just got the Clubman S Saturday and there was something I don't think anyone has mentioned. Under the first storage lid in the back was a flat
package, about 14"x14". My MA didn"t know what it was either so we unwrapped it and it pops up about 10 to 12" high and has handles on two sides. Looks like it holds groceries so they don't fall over or slide around. pops back down and has two snaps that keep it flat. Is this something new or what?

Something many/most seem to have received with their Clubman. If you go to the MINIUSA site, or your dealer's, under accessories I believe they show them for sale. I guess it's for the orderly folks.

We got one with ours too. Its just a fold up 'box' to keep small loose stuff from rolling around the boot. I use it all the time.

I use mine to put my golf shoes in and keep the loose grass and junk from messing up my carpet!

Call your MA and find out why. Did you look under the spare tire trim? It should be in a plastic wrap.

You got ripped . Your car should have come with one. Call your sales rep and tell him. I'm sure he will set you up.

did not make it to the back of the car yet to investigate ... still fiddling with the dash ... but I could have swore I saw one there flattened + a cargo net (which is a $40 accessory for most other cars)

And what is that white folded up "thing" inside a plastic bag? It came along with the box and the net. I haven't bothered to open it yet.

That thingy unfolds into a sometimes usable box. Think muddy shoes.
I first put some everyday car cleaning supplies in it, but it's too big unfolded. I refolded it and tossed it in the first hidden storage level with some towels and micro rags for the brake dust.
I'll use the box when I need it.
Until then, it's just a piece of free clutter.

The large white folded plastic bag is for your tire, should you need to change it and not want to get your Clubman interior dirty.

... that's cool, even if its just a .20 cent hefty bag.

did anone else have a small round plastic piece with a hook on it ... painted the body color? I found this with the spare jacks. not sure what it is ...

I saw a hook in the Owners Manual...yes I read the thing before I had the car. That hook was for removing the wheel's center cap, if you have one.

Maybe it is a sample...could have been sprayed when your car was so you have it. Now I have to go out and look high and low in mine.
That 2nd sub level where a tire could go has extra storage for light items.

I beg your pardon, it's an official OEM MINI Clubman temporary, flexible, foldable storage system for one (1) wheel and tire assembly. Further, it functions as an interior protection system once deployed.

Lurch, I just checked the spare tire area, which has no tire because it's an S.
There's a jack, lugnut crowbar, a two part screwdriver and the wheel cap remover. Nothing else. I feel ripped by the paint chip.

That white "heft" bag is really for my tire - god forbid I ever have to change one? Amazin'...though I like "the interior protection system" euphemism.

What's wrong, lurch - you are looking so sad. I have no idea what you guys are talking about regarding "the hook".
