The new R56/R55 chassis is designed to run on RFT.

So, all new MINI's have them.

I believe I have Dunlops Sportmaxx, .. something like that

Our Clubman S with no sport package, was ordered with the standard tire/wheel combo....16" second generation Goodyear Excellence runflats (Support EH+2 wheel rims) 195/55/R16 V87 speed rating on MINI's 16" Bridgespoke wheels (The default choice are the 16" sidewinder wheels which I didn't like). I believe your sport package tires will either be Goodyear or Dunlops, second generation EH+2 tires on size 215/45/R17 performance or thereabouts..

All new R56 and R55 (Clubman) MINIs come equipped with second generation EH+2 runflats. There tires are supposed to have better ride quality, handling and wear pattern durability than first generation EH runflats (Which were standard OEM equipment in the first generation MINIs). If you order a Cooper or Cooper Clubman with 15"tires/wheels, your car will be fitted with standard radial, non-runflat tires.

My bridgespokes are sporting Goodyear Excellence 195/55R16 87H tires. I still have only 900 miles on mine so I can't comment too much on them. I can tell you that the runflats on my '05 MC were way too loud. They wore unevenly and they were stiff.

Base Clubman comes with 15" standard tires, size 175/65R 15 84H.
All other sizes are run-flat tires, on either 16" or 17" rims, depending on how you build the car. I believe the standard 15" tires are Continental Conti Touring. A temporary mini-spare tire is standard equipment if you get the 15" tires, but all Clubmans have room for the temporary spare if you want to order one separately. The spare is inside the Clubman, under the rear floor.

Same here.

Great tires, lots of grip in the dry.

2008 MC Clubman (not S)
Automatic with Sport Package

We chose All-Season tires due to this being a daily driver for my wife.

The tires delivered on it are:
Continental 195/55/16 ContiProContact SSR

These tires are rated very high on TireRack.com.
We are not disappointed.

We specified all-season on our Clubman S. It arrived today with the Continentals like yours.

I put these on my wife's '05 MCSa and have around 1K miles on them - enjoying them so far. They seem better than the Dunlop 5000s that were on there originally.

Yep, same here. Same "standard" tire as the new JCW cars - at least in Canada...

Non-S; Michelin Energy somethings. My MA said it was the first Clubman they had come in with Michelins. Ride is great, and they were great in the rain yesterday.

But the car's grubby now.
