Ahhh, Saginaw....Home of the annual Train and Grain Festival. Actually, that's not too very far from where we used to live. We lived on a small residential airport off of 170 between 35W and 377. I could see Alliance Airport out my kitchen window.

Perhaps we will meet at one of the MM events. We are going to try to make it to the picnic in September.

My maiden voyage on the Dragon today! At around mile number 10 a freakin BLACK BEAR came barreling out of the woods and ran straight into cabriopilot's MINI!

Made my reservations for MOTD 2009! WAHOO!

He came barreling out of the woods, sorta bounced back after he went headfirst into the MINI, took a couple steps backward, then came forwards towards my LadyG (I didn't hit him I was able to move to the right as he was on the yellow lines), and I guess he ran back into the woods.

 

Oh, MY!!!! Are Cabriopilot and the MINI ok? How bout the bear?

Cabriopilot and his daughter are fine, but he's not too happy as you might imagine!

***off topic - looks like I won't be making it to Asheville this October after all. My work has a no/very limited leave policy in Sept/Oct (it's our craziest time), and my husband has a sailboat race on our one October holiday weekend. GRRR. I'm gonna start working on plans for 2009 NOW!

hate to hijack the thread, just curious.... I didn't order it on mine and I have till Thursday (order accepted at factory) to fully finalize..... just wondering out loud if I want it...... mostly commute driving in my case....
